A couple days ago I saw some long, thin spider legs slithering in behind a bookshelf, but there was no way I'd manage to get that thing out of there. That little creeper has been hiding out in the area for this long, until it finally decided to poke its head out and sit on top of the shelf today.

It didn't last long (I wonder how many crawlies are inside that vaccuum cleaner bag now. Ick!)

I hate spider season...

Edit: Found another this morning, and then ANOTHER when I came home. those buggers are absolutely everywhere!
They're around 4-5 cm (2 inches?) across, so they're not exactly tiny, but they sure can hide...

EDIT: And another in the hallway. Getting tired of this! 4 in just a couple days!

Dear crackheads of Verizon,

You sent me a email yesterday stating that my bill was ready. This morning I tried to pay it, but I keep getting a message that my account doesn't exist. I tried another option using the very same email address that you sent the email to and got the same message that my email doesn't exist.

Nothing has changed. We've had the same phone with the same account number for over 20 years. WTF is wrong you people? I guess you will be paid when you pull your head out of your butts.

This isn't a browser issue by the way. I tried three of them which got me nowhere.

EDIT: I called Verizon. Their AI bot said my pin number doesn't exist ( it does along with the rest of my so-called info that doesn't exist), but I managed to get through to a human. Customer service directed my call to technical support.

If somebody from a company ( any company) tells you that you should download something to your phone or otherwise so they can see your screen, DO NOT DO THAT... EVER! Sorry for yelling, but absolutely not! When I called the tech support guy out for even asking me to do that, he was quick to inform me that he doesn't have the tools to get into my computer. Whatever!

He then went on to argue with me about how this was a browser issue. I've been paying my phone bill online for over 3 years using the same browser with the same browser settings. He then argued that I was using a VPN. Wrong again! I use Verizon for internet, they won't allow me to use a VPN. For a person that was determined to do whatever with my PC, one would think he could see who my internet provider is. More crackhead behavior.

In the end, I had to use my login info that hasn't worked for literally years and was able to pay my bill.

I tried opening reddit for a few minutes, worst decision of my day. everything is rage bait on social media.

Really tired from work (long shifts), then travelling/checkup stuff today, and was looking forward to getting some relaxing stuf done the following days, but nope - some work stuff tomorrow, too. At least it's just an hour, maybe two... (I did kind of ask for it, but wasn't thinking it would happen as soon as tomorrow )

I forgot that its October now so all the good ice cream places are closed

So I missed my chance on Tuesday when it was actually sunny and I was even close by to my favourite place. End March is so far away

Slept at a weird angle on Monday and my shoulders been hurting for days now.

My physio is on holidays til the 14th

(Ruined my whole weekend, more like. Pretty much like spending the day with a toddler in the deepest of deep terrible twos tantrum... only it wasn't a toddler. Would rather have spent the weekend with a tantrum-ridden toddler, honestly... A toddler you can pick up and carry if they're acting up, and they're slightly easier to distract. )

I sneeze hard enough last night that my chest hurt

Bloody migraine, that's what. First real migraine in a loong while because my doctor found preventative meds that actually do something, but it doesn't matter if a migraine is the only one this year or not - it's stil a migraine, and swallows up your whole day and makes you shaky and weak after. I'm in recovery now, but I just came in here to say it sucked.

I normally get a migraine on my day off, after a long week at work.

I was driving peacefully, and then I swallowed saliva the wrong way apaprently, making me cough which in turn made me cramp up just below my right rib. Luckily the lights just turned red, I spasmed for some good 20 seconds...

The fact I chipped a tooth a while back and I should mention that soft enamel is a real thing, I got it from my father's family and sadly, I am unsure if fluoride treatments are covered under Medicaid\Medicare.

Lousy medical system. New Jersey is home to at least 16 pharmaceutical laboratories and yet the healthcare worker shortage reveals not only is the system broken, but choked with people in need of care, especially when you consider the dense population for a tiny state. In Dickensian terms, "Many people can't afford healthcare and those who can rather die than seek treatment due to the costs in bills."

I know that New Jersey covers dental but not vision. I found it weird when comparing back to Washington in the Pacific Northwest that both dental and vision weren't covered under any government insurance.

Yes, when I think about health, healthcare is the associated idea.

Could be waiting almost 8 months for a specialist appointment for thyroid nodule and tonsils.

Rain, dogs, and the complete "who gives a sh**" attitude sheep have for leaving their "output" quite literally everywhere.
Other than that, pretty decent day. Nice with a different day than the usual.
