"It is time to LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY!"
While on a date, Leod McGreggor and Betty Goldstein both rolled the wants to have their very first WooHoo with each other.

"Hehehehehe. I know what I'm doing."
Meanwhile, Catherine Viejo, who is a romance sim, planted a garden made exclusively of eggplants and cucumbers. Hmmmmmm...

Justice for Viola Monty!

"Because of that?!"

I just spent a while trying to figure out why on community lots my game had a new "stutter". Every couple of foot steps with follow cam, stutter, rotate camera, stutter, do anything, stutter. My initial thought was "too many sims?"

*backs up save*, I go to the lot, with max sims set to 2, just a couple of sims? same stutter. *rips out all cc*... still stuttering... while the lot now looks so empty (lol).

Odd, maybe a skin overlay? *cures vampire* Stutter reduces, but not stops.

Set all graphics options to minimum... still stuttering. So at this point I'm just switching random options to see what changes. Turns out, flip "fade objects" from off to literally any other setting? Bam! All stutter gone. Restore backup (including cc), toggle just that one option to small, go to the lot, no more stutter! Just to be sure, I force the game to bring in 25 other sims, and load the lot.. yup still no stutter (except on actually bring the sims in / out, which is somewhat normal).

That's nuts how one option can cause a massive stutter.

"Whoa! Hidden romance Sim?"

Julien Cooke (Popularity/Pleasure) keeps rolling wants to romance and date his friends of both genders. Even if they're happily married.

Me: "I don't really want the Travellers to have any more babies."

Also me: "But the younger son wished for an expensive telescope, and now Trent wants to max out the logic skill, so really, I have no choice about it."

Yes, we are expecting a little alien Traveller. And really, I'm not upset about it. If it's a boy, he will also be a werewolf, in the tradition of my Strangetown Traveller family.

"Oh no."

Sanjay Ramaswami asked his friend/apartment neighbour Julien Cooke to look after their newborn daughter a few hours while he went to the local park with his guitar to play for tips. (Hey, he has to make installment payments on the guitar.)

So of course Julien shows up at the park.

"You're supposed to be on birth control!" (MTS won't allow it, so imagine this in all-caps.)

You'd need a mod for that.

Edit: All caps worked for me. Odd.

(This was my main point of replying lol, I was curious about that)

Actually all sims are on birth control by default. In a vanilla game, the decision to woohoo or try for baby is the player's; they will never do either autonomously. You only need a birth control mod if you have a mod allowing autonomous trying for baby.

Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

I'm using a risky woohoo mod.

And that just shows how much I have not played the vanilla game. :D

"That also works."

An apartment neighbour kept trying to pick fights. I made him temporarily selectable and drained his energy to make him go back to his apartment. Instead:
