This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Enable household member to make sales automatically? (Business)
Is it possible to make a household member to automatically talk to customers when they want to buy something or need help, just like when you assign an employee to perform sales? I know there's a self-interaction to restock stuff but i haven't seen anything to perform sales automatically, even with AllMenus on.

I tried the "Hire familly member" mod to hire and assign sim, but the mod seems broken, as after one interaction with customer, sim just stops it's task and cannot be assigned to do it again.

Is there a mod/cheat to do this?

also sorry for my bad english.

Pescado's "Business Runs You" mod may help. It requires some configuration, but when fully set up will automate most business functions. Employees assigned to be salespeople will automatically move about the store and do sales interactions with customers. In my game they still have trouble with customers needing help. Sometimes the employee will offer help, but more often I have to manually use the business owner to do it. Business Runs You works best with Pescado's other automated function mods, but will also work just fine on its own.

Pescado didn't provide much support or explanation for this mod, so ask here if you have any questions. The object attaches to a wall and looks like this:

Thanks for help, but unfortunately, it didn't worked.

After selecting the owner to be a salesman, he does nothing, when attempting to re-assign him, it still shows that he's assigned as a salesman. I tried the orginal version and the newest version of BRY for AL and downloaded all required hacks.

But even if it would work, it's not kinda what i'm looking for, i had this option only with the owner and only on a community lots, i'd like to assign anyone from the household to perform sales, even in home business.

Thank you

It seems that sim will do only one selling interaction and you have to assign him again every time... but well... it's still better than nothing . :D

I analyzed how the sell interaction works and it seems to not work like other interactions because it disappears after each interaction and has to be pushed again afterwards. employees and controllable managers have it pushed again automatically, but it cannot be pushed again onto household members in the same way.

If there would be a way to make a sim have continuously pushed sell interaction... either through an object, or maybe by putting something in his inventory... IDK if it would work.
