What is the mesh file in S4PE? I am new to all this. SOLVED! (thanks!)
Hello. I am new to this.

I have been saving CC. I have learned that some cc is just "recolors/retextures" and has no "mesh". (I tried to save the original mesh to items also as the links suggested but I think I missed a few.)

When I open S4PE, I know that IMG, THUM and RLE2 have images to preview for idea of what the item is/looks like. I know CASP is the details of what it is where goes how its categorized etc.

But.... What exactly is the Mesh part of the package file..... And how do i tell if a mesh / all meshes are there or missing?

The meshes are the MLOD (and MODL?) files.

So in S4PE for a CAS item It would have MLOD as a tag?

CAS files have GEOM resources. Objects have MLOD/MODL.
