Default How to add swatches to a base game object
I've checked the tutorials and the sims4studio forums and couldn't find an answer. Maybe I just didn't look very well. I don't know.

I'd like to recolor an object from the base game (or an expansion, stuff pack, etc, doesn't matter) WITHOUT making it a stand-alone recolor. I just want to add swatches to the existing object. I don't see a way to do it though.

I've done some recolors on my own but they've all been stand-alone and it's making my catalog very cluttered.

Playing since 2004.

The only way to do it is to create an override for the item. It can be a pain because conflicts can happen.
