Swan Creek Park

Description- Do your sims want to enjoy nature but find the Maxis parks too boring? Then take them to Swan Creek Park!

Nature is prominent with a fishable creek, nature trails, pet walk, realistic foot bridge, and plenty of seating to just relax and take in the scenery. There’s an abundance of trees, bushes, and flowers.

But, there are also plenty of things to do at Swan Creek Park. There is a full playground with swings and a sand box for children, an ice skating rink (which could be swapped for a roller rink for summer if desired), chess sets, fun and food objects for pets, and benches for more romantic pursuits. The lot is spacious, so there is plenty of room for group water balloon or snowball fights.

Concerned about your sims getting hungry while at the park? Tired of only having grills to eat from? Then you are in luck. Swan Creek Park has a full restaurant with a large kitchen, booth seating for large groups, romantic window seats for that special date, and outdoor deck seating available

There are two hostess stands: one inside and one out on the deck. Choose to be seated by the inside hostess if you want to sit inside or choose the outside hostess if you would prefer a deck or window seat. There is plenty of room for the multiple NPCs to move around without problem. In addition to eating on the over-water deck, your sims can also order coffee from the espresso stand and watch the water fountains.

The bathrooms off the restaurant are comfortable, classy, and spacious. In fact, there is an object on this lot to improve every single one of your sims’ needs.

You will find that this lot has all of the little details you are looking for. There’s plenty of lighting in case your sims want to stay and play after dark. There are natural-looking paths between activities. There’s even terrain paint under the swings to give that more realistic well-used look.

Testing- Another copy of this file was extensively play-tested for 5 full day outings. Because of problems with some community lots getting stuck in one season, you may want to have one copy of the park for summer and another copy for winter until the seasons patch comes out. My sims had a wonderful time at the park, and I was easily able to maintain all of their needs. This copy of the lot is brand new.
