If you're fascinated with the East or with mysticism, this career is for you. It's designed for sims who want to do chi kung, yoga, and immerse themselves in Taoism (mostly) in a meaningful way.

I tried to make it as realistic as possible, drawing on my own knowledge of these areas. So level descriptions should reflect the path you could realistically take, and the chance cards are either related to problems that could realistically become problems in the context on the path, or their solutions are related to the context of the path in one way or another.

Features
- doesn't overwrite other careers
- full chance cards for all 10 levels

For best role-playing experience
Mystically inclined sims are thoughtful and strive for knowledge. So the sim should not be too playful, as over 8 playful points disables an ability to meditate (as a bonus, the career won't force a sim to have many friends, 9 is the max). The sim also shouldn't have any skills in body or logic in the beginning. As the career mentions these skills at certain points, it would look a little strange if they were already present: 3 logic gives a sim an ability to meditate, 3 body gives her an ability to do yoga.

Versions
There are two versions of the career: one with realistic hours and another one with standard hours. Because the sim is mostly assisting or conducting workshops, work hours should normally be evening hours, thus the realistic version has your sim working mostly in the evening.

However, dates that call you back usually do so in the evening, and birthdays happen in the evening, so I decided to include a version with more comfortable hours. The second version of the career has your sim work standard work hours, starting from the morning.

Career info
01. Chi Kung Researcher - §100 M, T, W, Th, F – 17:00-00:00 (alt. version 09:00-16:00)
The first step is always hard: you go out and study chi kung books in the library. Studying energy work is harder than you thought. It's not science, nobody can tell you for sure how to obtain guaranteed results, and neither is it fully subjective mysticism, since it can be applied to cure actual sims. It's something in between, and you need to discover what exactly it is and how to tackle it best.
Meanwhile, you help around the library as a sweeper and get a little pay for that.

02. Chi Kung Workshop Assistant - §150 M, T, W, Th, F – 17:00-00:00 (alt. version 09:00-16:00)
You're still not a successful practitioner, but now you have a chance to observe a real one at her workshops. Watch what she does like a hawk in order to grasp it! And meanwhile try to help others out as well as you can, be friendly and nice. They will appreciate your help, even if you're still a little clumsy.
Maybe you should make friends with some of them, to have somebody to talk to about chi kung. Or just find somebody to talk to about it outside of the workshop.

03. Chi Kung Workshop Visitor - §200 M, T, W, Th, F – 17:00-00:00 (alt. version 09:00-16:00)
Now that you've got friends from the workshop you've been helping out at, you've made connections with other people visiting other workshops. And you think it's a good idea to go there too, and compare your previous master to those other masters.
Don't feel desperate, maybe it feels like a dead-end sometimes, but you have a premonition that you will soon progress on your path if you only continue to persist. Just try harder, work a little on your body, talk to people in order to get useful advice, and try to think creatively, and then you just might stumble upon a solution!

04. Chi Kung Practitioner - §300 M, T, W, Th, F – 17:00-00:00 (alt. version 09:00-16:00)
You've got it: all those masters don't brandish their arms and legs only for pleasant (or not so pleasant) physical sensations, they actually meditate in this way! There are stationary types of meditations, but there are dynamic ones, too. You could try the stationary one in the future if you managed to learn to meditate. One of the benefits of the stationary meditation that you've discovered is that it should keep your bodily needs from falling low, what a great thing is it going to be!
You continue to help around with the various workshops, but meanwhile your major focus is on learning to meditate. Many masters have told you that you've got to have mental skills and tremendous concentration for meditation, so train your logic and attention.

05. Meditator - §350 M, T, W, Th, F – 04:00-12:00 (both versions)
Finally, you've learned to meditate! Now that you're at it, you can keep your needs from falling down and your mood platinum for ages, what an incredibly useful skill. That's just one step from finding out how to cure others: the more you meditate the better you should understand the inner workings of sim chi kung.
You don't feel like meditating in the workshops anymore, instead you go out in the early morning to the most desolate spot in the city that you can find. In order to pay your checks you sweep the streets, and even that is a sort of meditation: you're so concentrated on sweeping that you sweep better than a normal sweeper and get paid more than a normal sweeper. Continue to meditate and sweep, and soon you should learn some intuitive truths about your own life energy!

06. Chi Aware Practitioner - §450 M, T, W, Th, F – 04:00-12:00 (both versions)
Thanks to meditating a lot you're now aware of your own chi, that is, you can finally sense it as physical currents of energy and you can direct it wherever you please inside of your body!
You start looking around and notice that there are other energy manipulating systems, like yoga, and that there's no need to proceed with chi kung for now. You'd love to experiment a little and learn yoga energy system in order to be able to compare the two and understand them better. The question in your head is: why are the two so different, shouldn't all sims have only one kind of energy body? So study chi in both chi kung and yoga and attempt to understand this. Maybe this way you'll finally learn how to not only benefit your own health and mood, but directly influence the health of others, as has always been your dream.
Meanwhile you continue to sweep the streets, but soon maybe you should open your own workshop instead. After all, you're an aware practitioner of energy work now, and that's a rare skill, you feel like you should transmit this skill to other sims.

07. Yoga Workshop Master - §1000 M, T, W, Th, F – 17:00-00:00 (alt. version 09:00-16:00)
So, you've said goodbye to your work sweeping the streets . You've learned how to do yoga and you've opened your own workshop to teach other sims yoga. Maybe that will help you understand what you have to do in order to influence their health directly, too?
Sims keep doing everything incorrectly most of the time, and you need some more creativity in your talking skill to explain their mistakes to them. You also need some charisma to keep them coming, instead of giving up quickly and finding something easier to do than going to your workshop.

08. Chi Researcher - §1200 M, T, W, Th, F – 17:00-00:00 (alt. version 09:00-16:00)
Yoga is good, but what about chi kung? Upon comparison you've found out that the two systems are not compatible ideally, you have to do one for best results. But what you've also found out is that in a sim world the drawbacks are not as harsh as everybody imagines!
You're still giving yoga lessons, but now you've set apart some time to do more research on chi kung. Practice it, compare it. Chi used in both systems is the same universal energy, but the details of the methods for its usage are different.
What will you discover next?

09. Chi Kung Workshop Master - §1400 M, T, W, Th, F – 17:00-00:00 (alt. version 09:00-16:00)
You've moved on to chi kung, deciding that it's better than yoga. Indeed, yoga is mostly a solitary affair and your students strive for enlightenment. Chi kung has a big advantages over it, it's more down-to-earth and can make one live almost forever, ideally. And it permits you to use your own energy to heal others! That's what you always wanted, to be a healer rather than a teacher.
For now you still have your own workshop, and although officially it teaches chi kung these days, you also teach yoga to anybody who asks for it. The final step of your plan is to work on your concentration some more, in order to learn to project chi outside of you and then direct it inside of others to heal them.

10. Chi Kung Healer - §2000 M, T, W, Th, F – 10:00-16:00 (both versions)
A new comfortable schedule awaits you along with the patients that swarm your door pleading for help. You love helping to fix their diseases, your hard work has paid off, and you're now one with the Tao. Both a sim healer and a teacher to those sims seeking knowledge as avidly as you did in your past. You're the one sim whom other sims go to when medicine is without a clue (and let's face it, it's often without a clue, even flu and food poisoning are cured by suggesting sims to rest in the bed for a while).
Relax and do what you always dreamed of doing. Life as one with the Tao is good, and there's still a lot to learn about Tao. There always is.
