Please note for the Subhood version
So as per any populated Subhood, it is recommended that you run through hood checker after attaching to your other hood, as sometimes, very rarely the character ID's get thrown around. So it is always best to back up and double check with it!

If you have the CC from my last hood Paraiso En Las Rocas and still play that one, just remove the "old" CC as it has now been updated to include all the extra items for this hood, without removing it from your exisitng gameplay. But rememeber to back up!

Welcome to of Paraiso en el Mar!

Paradise in the Sea or Paradise on the Sea, depending on which local you ask, has everything your castaway sims need from fine dining to angry pirates. What more can you want from an island? With all the eccentric locals, you will definitely find someone worth talking to. Who knows, it might lead you onto bigger and better things! Be sure to keep up with local traditions, as things tend to go crazy when the traditions are not observed!


The map features no townies, only the created sims using the Pooklet method, see below. I have added skills and badges to sims, they have full memories and families. Deacsesed Sims do not have any memories mind you!

This a for a unque style of gameplay, so I recomend having a seperate folder for this hood, and then you want normal gameplay swap out the folders, for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the Castaway hood, then there are some hiders included.

Please note that this hood was created in a clean hood template.

I also went through and changed everyone's name to be in default language only, so if you are playing on a non-English version of the game, the names will not be randomised but will be the English versions. Let me know if this has not worked / any issues!

Paraiso en el Mar - Requires The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and CC! (link)

TO INSTALL AS A MAIN-HOOD
Download "Mar_Populated_Main" extract the file then you should see the "ISLA" folder.
Place the "ISLA" folder straight into your Neighborhood folder in your Documents,
I have the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection so this is the file path for that.
C:\Users\USER\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Neighborhoods
*note, cannot be installed with the empty version, please choose one.

TO INSTALL AS A SUB-HOOD

To be able to see the whole map you will need a camera mod, I recommend using GunMods Camera mod to view the whole lot;

CAS;
Myself and (mainly) Neytan have converted castaways clothes so that townies now wear these outfits. They also are enabled for pregnancies, so if you have mods that enable any pregnancy clothes then these are compatible.

Custom Content that is not required but I use;
