New Register Interactions
  • Rename Register - Give the register a unique name.
    If Seasons EP is installed:
  • Set Holiday Bonus Amount - like in RH careers, the employee sim will get a holiday bonus (but only on summer and winter holidays). If wages are paid from the owner, this bonus will be deducted from the owner's family funds like with regular pay. If wages are paid from owner, but the owner doesn't have enough funds, the employee won't get the bonus.
  • (Don't) Give Holiday Vacation - toggle whether or not employees will receive summer and winter holiday vacation.
  • Set Duties - set the employee to do certain duties on the lot throughout the day. Currently, choose from cleaning and repairing objects. This works best when Strict Tending is Enabled as the push to clean/repair comes while at the register.
New Phone Interactions

  • If Seasons EP and University EP is installed:
    Under Jobs and Offers --> Generic Register
  • Request Paid Time Off
  • Request Unpaid Time Off
    Regarding both paid and unpaid time off, pregnant sims' requests will always be accepted, regardless of length, so you can arrange your own maternity leave if you wish. Other than that, time off isn't handled in a too in-depth manner. Teenagers have slightly lower request allowances than adults.
    When sick, or "fake sick", you can take sick leave. This can also be for multiple days.
    You can only make these requests outside of working hours.
  • Cancel Time Off - Removes all scheduled days off work.
  • Quit - The employee can quit the role. If working, should get full days pay.
  • Fire Sim - The register owner will fire the employee. If working, should get full days pay.
Other
Working has been given a slightly lower priority, so while at the register, you should now be able to interrupt sims and have a conversation.

Functionality:

Sometimes you just want your sim to have a 'job' without having a "job", right?
Or perhaps, they do have a job, only they're self-employed, like my tattoo artist, and you need them to be on a certain lot at a certain time?
Well, now they can stand around for hours ""working"", until you're satisfied.

They'll route to the lot and stand behind the register like they would any other job!

Customise their role
  • Choose any (or no) sim to own the register
  • Hire a sim of your choice
  • Choose their hours, their days off, how much they'll get paid, and whether or not the register should make sure they don't slack off!
    If strict tending is disabled, once you direct them to do anything else, the register won't call them back.
    If strict tending is enabled, you can still direct them to do other things but the register will call them back afterwards.
    Please note: they are only paid for the hours spent at the till! Use that information as you wish!
