Less Meowing Cats

Hello!

I love cats irl, and I love having them around in the sims. The problem is, that the sims 4 team decided to make their sfx incredibly repetitive, loud, and annoying. So I spent a whole day combing through ways to improve the situation.

What does this mod do?
This mod overrides several Meows with a 1 second mp3 of nothing/silence. This does NOT remove all cat sounds, they will still purr, chirp, and hiss. This is mainly to reduce the amount of constant looping Meows in idle mode, or when they have the talkative trait.

There are also some meows I just didn't catch, but right now it's enough to make playing with cats in the sims enjoyable again to me (and hopefully to you, too)

This should be compatible with every other mod unless you are touching any of the affected sounds listed below
