After the talk Tanisha began to walk away. She then turns around. "I don't like this guy Tom, he breaks hearts. If you even think about dating him. Well lets just say you will be needing a new friend." Tanisha then walks off the field and heads back to the school.


.:Naomi was surprised that Tanisha actually accepted the subject change. It wasn't like her, and it was surprising.:.

"Well what ever you do at the party, just make sure it's not too messy" Naomi then giggled. "No i will not need to be needing a new friend, trust me. So are you still considering dating that one guy? I can't remember his name, or much about him, I only remember that you told me something about him a couple of weeks ago."

Tanisha hearing the comments from Naomi. She turns back around. "Well, let's just say I don't need anyone right now. Especially after what he did to me. I don't ever want him mentioned again." Tanisha said hiding something. "Well anyway, I really don't want you to be talking to this guy. Im your best best friend and I think you deserve more. What if after school today, we go meet some new guys?" Tanisha said flipping the script after saying too much.

.:Naomi raised her eyebrows at what Tanisha said:.
"What did he do to you, I'm your best friend and i deserve to know what this jerk did to you. Your way to good for most of the guys in this world anyways!?! After you tell me we'll go and meet some new hotties" Naomi really wanted to hear what happened, and now she was worried. She could see the secretive look in Tanisha's face.

Being scared to what this might do to her reputation around school. "Well we were serious for about two days. And well, one night at a party, you know we got a little drunk and before I knew it we were having sex. And well, Im late." Teary eyed Tanisha said. "But hey, that's not going to stop me, lets go ahead and meet some special boys or whatever. Me being late is no real big deal." Tanisha stated while trying to change the subject once again.

"Oh my god...Tanisha! Couldn't one of you have been sober enough to realise that you needed a condom! This is so serious...Tanisha I think you might want to go in for a checkup. This could seriously mess up your life" Naomi then remembered one of her own mistakes that happened in California. She took a deep breath in and started to tell Tanisha about it, but not before she handed Tanisha some tissue from her purse.

"Don't worry, your not alone in this world. Plenty of girls end up being late and it's most of the time nothing, but the other girls do end up carrying it with them for 9 months. I was one of those girls, I was late and I did carry something for 9 months. You see that's why I had to get away from California, everybody looked down upon me like i was the town slut or something. You know my little sister Audrey? That's my own child....I was only 14 when she was concieved...and she turns 3 in 5 months. I'm sorry i never told you this before, but i didn't want you to look at me differently...don't tell anybody, as far as anybodies concerned she's still my little sister, even if my parents are a little to old to be the biological parents" .Naomi looked down at the ground with her face red hot, she was embarassed of her past, and didn't want to be seen differently.

After hearing the heart breaking story that Naomi said. "Oh my god... I mean I never knew." Tanisha now feeling sorry for even saying anything. "Naomi--" Tanisha said. "I am scared. I am not ready to be a mother. I mean I am trying to win the spot of the Cheerleading captain." A now crying Tanisha said. "Naomi, I have something to say. I didn't really want it. I don't think this baby, if there is one, needs to have a mother like me. I don't want it. If I am pregnant, I am not keeping it." Tanisha then begins to smile. "But look on the brightside, I may not be pregnant though." Tanisha began to laugh. "So without a doubt, lets go ahead and go somewhere else." Tanisha said.

Sophia was sunken in her thoughts about this terms first issue of the school paper. She did hear Yasmine and Elyse talking about hair colors, a topic she was not really interested in. She'd never dye her hair in any other color then the bright red she had now.
"Uhm, Yasmine, could you please think about doing pictures for the school paper?! You don't have to decide that now though ... I will go see the others of the paper team for now. See you later!" she said to both girls with a wide smile.
She fought her way through the masses of students, noone wanted to make space for her. "That is so tyical, if I was blonde and wearing high heels they'd all make way and stare at me ..." Sophia thought.
Finally she reached her locker and opened it. There was a foul smell. "Oh no, did I really forget to throw that banana away before the summer holidays?!" she mumbled. She took the bag with the banana and threw it in the nearest trash can. Then she cleaned her locker with a tissue. "That'll do for now ..."
The girl put her heavy bag in the locker and closed it carefully.

Sophia reached Georgina's office: KNOCK KNOCK! "I hope she'll be nice to me ..."

J.D. just laughed. This guy was all too full of himself.
"Dude, writing notes and sneaking them over to girls when the teacher ain't watching... I outgrew that a long time ago."

And with that, he lost interest in any further conversation (yeah, like this guy would have anything even remotely interesting to say!) and leaned back in his seat, his eyes searching for a new victim. There were lots of preps and jocks in this class, but they were all to busy admiring themselves and eachother to be worth the bother. For now, at least. The nerds were too easy, and quite frankly, he didn't really like torturing them. They usually didn't pose a challenge, nor did they need to have their egos seriously deflated. Unlike some.

J.D. tilted his head back and sunk even lower in his seat while letting out a deep sigh. Staring at the ceiling, he wondered how many hours he had spent the past few years counting the tiles up there? He rarely paid attention to the teachers, and there was little else to do during class, but sometimes it was just better to attend than be sent to detention. He'd spent way too much time there already.

When the bell finally rang, he'd almost fallen asleep. The sharp squeals of the chairs being pushed back and the shuffle of feet, made his eyes fly open.
Seconds later, he was heading out the door, towards his banged up locker. On his way, he accidently bumped into a pretty little thing with auburn hair, who he'd noticed mainly because she'd seemed nearly as bored as him, staring out the window nearly the whole time in class. (referring to Lila).
But, being the ill-mannered bad boy he was, it didn't occur to him to apologize. Instead he just gave her a slight grin, and was on his way again.
It was time for a smoke behind the school, and then lunch. But first he needed to get a new pack of cigarettes from his locker, and the CD's he'd borrowed from Giselle last week.
As usual he had to enter the combination, and then slam his fist against the locker door to get it to open. It really was in bad shape, having taken quite a few beatings over the years.

Lucas finally managed to free Stacie from her skirt and stood back proudly.
"Thanks," she told him, planting a kiss on his cheek to show her appreciated, "and why would I not have enjoyed that!"
Lucas laughed and Stacie ran off again, but not before zipping her skirt up properly.

As Stacie turned the corner she saw Tom and was about to go say hi to him. She stopped still and watched as Tom and Naomi kissed, her mouth hung open. She knew Tom was a player so she didn't know why it surprised her; but Naomi had just agreed to be her friend!

As Naomi turned to talk to Tanisha, Stacie walked up behind Tom and slipped both her arms round his waist.
"Does she taste better than me?" she whispered jokingly.

OOC: I'm agreeing with the limit tihng too, it's not fair to people that aren't online as often to get left behind!

"Finally" thought Georgina as she heard the knock on the door. "Come on in, door's open".

She watched as the redheaded girl came in the door, looking somewhat nervous. "You're Sophia right" she said, as the girl walked over to her desk. Georgina reached out and shook her hand "I'm glad someone's finally shown up. I'm Georgina, and I'm the editor around here. Pull a chair over Sophia"

Sophia took one of the other chairs in the office and puled it over to the other side of Georgina's desk. "So what kind of things will you be writing for the paper" Georgina asked.

Period Two| Heading to Paper's HQ
 

“And if there’s anything you need don’t hesitate to tell me. I’m here to help Essa.” Said the principle.

“Thanks, sir. I think I’m going to fit in fine in this school!” Essa said, plastering a large smile on his face. God, I’m surprised he didn’t beg me not to blow up the school. Before he turned around, Essa remembered that he didn’t know anyone here or where anything was. “Sir, seeing as how I’m new here, I was wondering if you know anyone who can show me around?”

“Oh yes. There’s a fine girl named Georgina you might find her in the library or the room where the school paper is located. Here” He handed Essa a floor plan of the school.

“Thank you sir!” He walked away towards the room closest to him, the school paper’s HQ.

"But look on the brightside, I may not be pregnant though." Tanisha began to laugh. "So without a doubt, lets go ahead and go somewhere else." Tanisha said.

"Well i hope your not pregnant, because you are to young, and when i had my baby I was waaay" Naomi extended her a's so way sounded longer. "to young. If you want when my parents leave town, you can come stay the night for a couple of days and I'll take you to a doctor, it's the best way to find out what's going on. I hope your just randomly late and not pregnant." Naomi started to figit with her brastrap that was now hanging on the side of her arm. "Besides the best thing for you to do right now if you ended up being pregnant, is to get rid of it. You've got your whole life ahead of you, and well now that I have a daughter most of my goals won't be suceeded like i wanted them to. You've still got your whole future ahead of you, just make sure next time you use all percautions. Maybe you should start taking birth control pills, right after I had my daughter my parents pratically forced me to start taking them." Naomi saw that Tanisha was smiling at what she said. "So are we going to go check out some hotties or what!?"

Naomi turned and saw Stacie wrapped around Tom, she wasn't going to do anything, after all Tom and Stacie were together before Naomi even knew either of them.

Omar had walked in to his second lesson. His first priority was his friends. The problem was, he didn't have any yet.

((I agree with Atropa. My head is spinning trying to keep up. xD I love everyone's enthusiasm and posts, but I'm just too slow, haha.))

Jamison had gotten up and headed to the doorway, leaving Lila to herself once again. She hadn't even realized in her daze that nearly the entire class had exited the room, leaving her, the tough-guy, and a few other stragglers behind. She blinked several times, trying return herself to reality, but was quickly jarred violently back when she felt a someone bump into her.

She stumbled back a few steps and as a reflex began to say an apology. Looking up she realized that it was the tough-guy who had been sitting behind her. To her surprise, however, he did not say excuse me, he did not ask if she was alright, and he did not say he was sorry. Instead, he merely flashed her a grin and left the room.

Lila stood there, dumbfounded for a moment. She came to school at the crack of dawn, had to deal with the utmost mundane tasks, and most unbearable of all--deal with the idiocies of some of her fellow students. It was the tiniest nudge that sent her over the edge. Turning away from her serene view, she stormed over to her desk, collected her things, and left the room with the aim of finding him. The door slammed behind her and she surveyed the surrounding hallways for any site of the 'rebel' boy. The loud slam against a locker was her signal. There he was, abusing his locker. She marched over to him with a fierce expression set in place.

"So this is what the manners of today's youth have devolved to?" She shot a glare between the boy and his locker. "I'm sorry, I'm really not usually this confrontational, but honestly! You nearly knock me over, and don't provide the most miniscule apology. You almost looked pleased! And then you come out her and pummel school property? You've got some nerve." Her brows furrowed and she shook her head. "Like I don't have enough crap to deal with when I come to this god-forsaken place." she grumbled, throwing her arms up in the air and taking a few steps back from him. "Nice to meet you! But if you'll excuse me, I have my own locker to pummel now." Sarcasm dripped from her voice and she gave him a quick wave and smile before turning and heading for her own locker down the hall. For a moment, she half-considered actually abusing her own locker to let out some of her frustrations.

As Yasmine finished drinking her pineapple soda, she headed to the paper HQ, seeing as Sophia had asked her to draw something for the school paper. She walked in to the room and saw Sophia, a brunette and the foreign exchange student she's been hearing about. "Hey guys! Sophia asked me if I could draw something for the school paper. What do you want me to draw? I know! Maybe the popular kids being attacked by man-eating ice cream cones?" Yasmine laughed like a hyena at her comment.

Omar knocked on the door of the paper. "Uhm hi. I'm Omar. I was told this is the newspaper hq"

"Well ... I was thinking I could write about arts and culture. We have some good artists here at this school, did you know that?!" Before Georgina could answer, a foreign looking student busted in, and right after him also Yasmine.
She said "Hey guys! Sophia asked me if I could draw something for the school paper. What do you want me to draw? I know! Maybe the popular kids being attacked by man-eating ice cream cones?" and laughed really hard about her own comment.
Sophia giggled as well but stopped immediately when she saw that Georgina was not too delighted with this proposal.

"Great" thought Georgina "It's not even third period yet and I'm already getting a headache". She sighed and starting rubbing her forehead.

"Look uhh Yasmine right? Don't take this the wrong way but you're in they key club and this is the School Paper. It's only the first day and the legitimate members haven't even officially been given their assignments yet. As much as I'd love to see the popular kids get eaten by icecream cones, we'll have to wait until we've got everything a bit more established before accepting anything else. I'm sure you understand".

She looked over past them to the door where Omar was standing. "Just come on in, your're in the right place". Georgina looked around at everyone as they all dragged chairs to places around the desk. "So we've got 3 of us so far, which is good. Omar, Essa, I guess we've got Sophia on arts and culture, how about you two"?

Omar was embaressed a little at the look on Georgina, not knowing it wasn't his fault. "Umm I thought I could do reviews for like, films and stuff" he said quietley.

Yasmine Peoples
 

"Well, I was just trying to help." Yasmine told Georgina, a little hurt by her comments. "Well, if you need anything, just call me and I'll help." Yasmine left the room and headed to the library. She grabbed the book, 10 Ways To Make A Successful Voodoo Doll, and sat down to read the interesting book.

"I was just being honest. If she wants to take it badly that's her problem" thought Georgina as Yasmine left. She shrugged and turned back to the others.


"Hmmmmm" said Georgina, tapping her chin with a pen 'That's a little close to the arts and culture thing Omar. Is there anything else you're interested in doing".

Omar put his hand to his head. "Well I could be a food collumist. I'm a chef so I know what I'm talking abot"
