Christmas In the Northwest
I don't know how my game did it... but it knew exactly how to make this photo authentic to a real Seattle December. *frown*
Grandpa Tiernan reads little Nico "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" whilst Delaney and Ethan conspire to get Trish to notice the mistletoe.

I guess some people just don't like cookies? |

Can you guys tell me whether that is the full stuff pack? Originally they released a Holiday pack which had the official site items, some more objects and santa/ baby new year. Later they added a 'mini pack' which was also a download. This had more items and clothes- some beautiful adult clothes and toddler rompers. Are those in the download from the spanish site? All of these items were later included in the 'Happy holidays' game version.
|
I'm not sure but this it's the "Christmas party pack" and is dated from 2005
|
No idea which version it is but it's got Santa and Old Year/New Year. The dancing toddler was amusing for about 15 seconds If I had an idea of what the clothes you are talking about looked like I could check for them.
|
if someone can find the Happy Holiday stuff pack for download (preferrably not a torrent), then i'd be grateful.
EDIT: Engram beat me to it |
Sims2FreakyGuy, if you are after illegal downloads, you'd better get off this forum as we cannot help. However, if you want to download the 'Christmas Pack' then you can do so from the site I linked to earlier.
Engram, the clothes are- santa outfit and female santa outfit; hair which had santa hats for male and female; female hair done up in a high bun; some dresses which looked satiny (You'd recognise them if you saw them- kinda evening dress look, they should appear right next to the basegame adult female clothes); toddler rompers with holly on them. From what slipknot93 says it sounds as though this is just the Holiday pack without the Holiday Mini Pack, so no clothes and hair. |
Today me and my wife Pamela celebrated our first Christmas togeather. We also had our first child born today Elysia. She'll probebly be as beautiful as her mom.Edit were living in the penthouse apartment with the hottub inside. It's the 4th floor.I forgot the name of the apartment but I took it out of the houses and lots bin.
This was taken before Pamala delivered so she's prego in this photo Christmas Poitriot Here we were being silly. This was taken after the baby was born. The other elf pics were taken before she was born. That's why Pamela isn't wearing a Mrs.Santa suit before because the game won't let prego females wear it. If you look at my pics on page 1 - the first shows a controllable dressed up as Santa and the second shows the "real" Santa. So the Santa clothes and hair are in the pack. I haven't had the chance to fire up the game to check for the other clothing but I would guess that if the Santa suit and hair are there then probably the rest of it is there as well. Or at least some of it. |
This is a really cool idea for a thread! Great pics everyone. It's really inspiring me to give some of my families Christmas this year, I don't usually bother
|
Ah, must be my memory playing tricks then. Evidently the Santa outfits are in the Holiday pack. I just checked the executables- the one from the Spanish forum is 69.9MB, which matches the size of 'Sims 2 Holiday Party Pack' (the first ever stuff pack, which was available as a download from the EA site). The 'add-on' to this, which again was a download and applied like a patch (instead of being installed like a regular SP) was called 'The Holiday Mini-Pack' which is, strangely, larger than the other one at 100MB and was the best value thing EA ever did! It cost me £3 UK to download (about $6 US) and contains all this:
http://thesims2.ea.com/about/holiday_mini_index.php I had thought that this was included in The Sims 2 Holiday edition, but it seems I remembered that wrongly too (my memory is shot, I tell you) as it says on the site 'requires The Sims 2 or The Sims 2 Holiday edition to play'. So, if you install the Spanish download you effectively have the holiday edition, but you do not have the Mini pack. Shame, 'cos it has beautiful clothes! http://thesims2.ea.com/about/holida...screenshots.php The hairstyle isn't shown there, I'll have to take a screenie of it. Edit: found one: http://images.macnn.com/macnn/news/...mholidyshot.jpg The ladies' hair 'do'. It seems that the Mini pack was included in the later 'Happy Holiday Stuff' pack too. http://thesims2.ea.com/holiday/index.php |
Thats so cool simsample, but im looking on the link i went through on the sims2.com to EA's site but i cant see the mini pack available anywhere?
|
@simsample: I wasn't after illegal downloads, i was just wondering if there was another link for TS2: Happy Holiday Stuff. Just wanted to clear that up.
@sharkloverplayer: Great pictures! Makes me want to finish that Xmas house for Mr. and Mrs. Clause. |
Wonderful pics, everyone! A typical "Legacy family" Christmas: "Hugs" by the fireplace... Electrocution in the Hot springs... And food fights at the dinner table! Happy Holidays from the Marlin family! (Click for bigger) |

That last link should take you to the 'Holiday Home page'. Does it not work? Try googling 'Sims 2 Holiday Mini Pack' to see if you can find it that way. |
No have gone through EA's site but when i go to buy it its not on the list, all i get is this http://eastore.ea.com/store/eaemea/...goryID.11242700

Hmm, looks like it isn't available to buy any more, then. Even Happy Holiday Stuff isn't available.
