I kind of wanted to upload a sim or lot myself and wasn't aware that lots are uploaded as sim3packs and I checked a couple of sims listed here for download and they are in the nameofsim.sim format as exported to the launcher.

Here is my stupid question, since you can add a house/lot to your library and you could edit a sim in CAS to be placed in town and they would be added to the library, the library works with .package files and the sim or house/lot could be uploaded as a .package file instead. Is this possible or is there a difference in exporting them to the launcher and pulling the package file from the library?

Insert Stupid question here --->You know the sprinklers do they actuly water plants ie lettuce and bell peppers or they just a purely get in the bathers and run around in water thing?

You have to up grade the sprinklers to get them to water plants. You have to be a high level of handieness in order to upgrade.

I don't know i put some in and haven't had to water my plants once and no one has tinkered with them

Just turning on the sprinkler will water the plants. So while Sims play in the sprinkler, they're also watering your plants for you. The upgrade is to make it auto-water the plants without you having to turn it on.

I had to move the friend in in order for him to go on the vacation. Then when vacation was over, I moved him out.

I have never gotten the sprinkler to actually water plants. Then again, I have only tried it indoors...

I don't like the sprinklers in this game. In order for them to actually serve their purpose you have to either turn them on and off manually, or get good enough handiness skill to upgrade them to auto-water in which case they go off on their own once a day.

Is there anyway to age sim down other then Ambrosia? I don't need to return them to previous life stage, but I'd like them to lose at least few days before becoming and elder. I know there is life fruit and Ambrosia, but by the time those grow...

Provides +5 mood (Cozy Fire) if kept in inventory. Certain fruits can be turned into flame fruits if your sim has the (hidden) Pyromaniac trait using the interaction Transmorgify.

Can you recolor maternity clothes? if so how?

You can't access CASt when a sim is pregnant and has a bump, however as the maternity clothes are available to non-pregnant sims you can customise a maternity outfit before the bump starts showing.

- In one of the outfit slots choose an outfit that you know sims wear whilst pregnant (the strappy dress, the tracksuit trousers and jacket, or the jeans and layered top) and apply your own patterns and colours to it. You can obviously put what accessories and shoes you like with it too.
- Accept it and make sure your sim is wearing it before her bump starts showing and she will keep that outfit throughout her pregnancy.

I do this with my pregnant sims, once the baby is born you can switch her back to a normal outfit and then if she gets pregnant again just pop her back. Much better than the hideous ensemble that the game puts together for you!

I want to know what exactly is the difference between adults and young adults in TS3 besides their fertility.

Other than fertility...they're not that different. Adults get wrinkles but that's about it. They should have made the Adult life stage more like middle age and have midlife crisis or something.

So, I made a character who is currently exploring China. And now she's stuck under the Terracotta Army. Of course I don't have escapedust, that would make this easy... I havent saved in a few sim days, so I really don't want to restart the game.

So after lots of googling, I can't find a descent site with quest help and walkthroughs of tombs.

Just in case anyone knows what I can do, she's stuck in the room to the right of the room with the spear. You know the one with all the darts traps. I didn't see the ones on the wall, so now she's standing by the wall switch, unable to cross the traps.

I dont know the solution, but there is a debug cheat to open the special merchant menu, from which you can buy escape dust..I think..

Goodness, thanks a bunch. My Alice sims was wearing ugly pink dress when she was pregnant, when she usually wears blue and white. XD She can now be pregers happily :D

Pamelaniel, I haven't tried this personally but I read on another site that your sim could just use his/her cell phone and choose to go home. Might be worth a try if you're really stuck.

I ended up ''cheating''. I used testingcheatsenabled and teleported to a safe spot. I tried zenporting, but there wasn't enough room to meditate. I'm just so glad I didn't have to restart the game or do anything else ''drastic''.

You're welcome. The uncustomised maternity clothes are pretty fug. Especially if the outfit they were wearing before they got knocked up had heels! Looks ridiculous.

I had that very same problem in the same tomb. Since I didn't have escape dust either, I just had my sim return home. When you go back in two days, you can get into the area you couldn't before.

I had a similar problem in China, but not in a tomb. I tried to place my tent and it got "stuck" and was blocking the only staircase to get down from the martial arts platform. I had to use the cell-phone and return home ... which was irritating because I was only at day 1.
