Albie Laroque
After the bizarre run-in, Albie had stopped by the drama club and talked with the plump woman who was overseeing the distribution of the pamphlets. What a mistake that had been! The vast woman refused to shut up, even for a moment, and in the end Albie had been forced to run to his next class. He didn't stand a chance. The bell rang before he got even halfway to the classroom. Albie feared for his own life. The new teacher would be coming in, and depending on his or her personality, the tardy could make or break the rest of his school year. The door came into view, and Albie mentally took note of the shiny new plaque above the door that declared the room belonged to a Mr. Chandler.
He slowed down then, and took a moment to catch his breath before opening the door. Inside, the teacher was finishing his little introductory speech... "...want your last name then first. There will be a seating chart next class, so don't get used to where your sitting." The words were shocking. Albie hadn't had a seating chart since the first grade, and judging by the looks on the other student's faces, they were not so pleased either. Cautiously, the raven haired boy entered. A sheepish expression was on his face as he scooted into the room. How could he have been late on the first day of school and the second day? That was for the gangsters, or whatever that little group called themselves. Absorbed in his own concerns, Albie barely managed to halt before he found himself making a klutzy move yet again. He smiled when he saw it was that same Sophia girl from before, but that vanished when the teacher cleared his throat. Albie looked up with dread labeled on his face. |
Mr. Chandler l Science Teacher
Mr. Chandler finally found his lesson plan buried underneith stacks of paper in his briefcase. He watched as the students passed the piece of paper he had given them around and waited for it to be brought back to the front. He could tell it was going to take awhile so he started typing his lesson plan into his computer. The computer he was issued seemed to be ancient, with missing keys on the keyboard, and a mouse that actually made squeaking noises.
He began typing at his keyboard just as his cellphone rang. He looked at his students and gave them the "One minute" signal and to his surprise they all hushed down. On the other end his wife told him how she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. In the moment of excitement he jumped up and screamed "YES I'M A DADDY!". When he saw the students faces to what he had just said he slowly slunk back down into his seat. "You may resume your talking quietly." Mr. Chandler then put his cellphone back into the top drawer of his desk and began typing again. He then glanced up again when a student walked into the door and took a seat. Mr. Chandler noticed that he was looking at a girl that was nearby him and he walked towards the boy and cleared his throat before he began talking. "So what might your excuse be for being tardy?" He raised his eyebrow and watied for a cheap excuse. |
"sorry i guess my alarm didn't go off, and i missed my ride..." Albie started to go on
"THATs alright hank you for joining us... i'll let it slide this time, don't make a habit of it." said Mr. Chandler to Albie camling himself down after reciving the news The paper came by Travis. "oh hi... Travis... right?" said Naomi "yeah, and you are?" smiled Travis at the funny ice breaker "i saw you this morning i think on the benches outside" said Naomi "oh yeah, i got to school early and i was just killing time" "huh got to school early? guess you are an achiver" she laughed ((oOc... hard to keep up with this RP sometimes lol)) |
((haha J_Cas that sure does sound like Naomi))
|
((OoC:Wait...so this is Chem class? If not then what class is it? Cause I'm taking Chem first period...ew...>>))
|
((I am going to bed now, feel free to godmode Sophia though
![]() |
((it's science class i think black barook, at least thats what i think lol))
Jamison watched Naomi chatting with that new guy and looked over to Sophia again, she looked at him too but then turned her head away quickly. He could see that she was kinda hurt... "Damn" he quietly mumbled and sighed. But what should he do? he liked Naomi and he was happy, she would get over it and maybe find another guy, maybe someone nerdy, they wouldn't fit together anyways... that wasmean and he felt bad at even thinking that way... he sounded like one of these jocks! He looked at Naomi again, who was still talking to that guy. "You're new here? aren't you?" he asked that guy. He looked nice, he was bored and Mr. Chandler seemed to be busy so he thought there was nothing wrong with chatting a little. |
looked nice, he was bored and Mr. Chandler seemed to be busy so he thought there was nothing wrong with chatting a little.
..."yeah, just moved into town a week or so ago" said Travis "oh yeah, how are you liking it here so far?" asked Jamison "it's nice here, i was a bit anti-social for a while... cause i was new and my family moves around a lot... but there are nice people here, and ah... nice sights.." said Travis looking right at Naomi. Jamison picked up on this... and dispite his heart being torn in two places... he couldn't help but get a pang of jelousy at this new guy making a move on Naomi |
((whoo...Naomi sure is a man eater....All the guys are after her))
Naomi was a bit confused about what the new kid was getting at, but she saw a look of disappointment in Jamison's eyes. She turned her attention towards him and kissed him on the cheek then looked at Travis again. "So are there any girls that you like at this school." She smiled sweetly and waited for an answer. In the front of the room Mr. Chandler continued to type on his computer, and who knew what he was typing, he still was a major loser. Naomi still couldn't believe that he was actually a father, "how could he get a wife? Hm...She must be some kind of circus freak..."is all Naomi thought about the whole subject. She felt bad for the child, it had to be ugly. |
"Um, well, some people do", the girl said, her cheeks turning red. "Then they are shocked by their grades."
Then quickly she turned away, facing forward just as the teacher walked into the room. J.D. frowned at her poor attempt to lie. He saw right through it, because... Well... You just can't cheat a cheater. Sighing, he turned his head in hopes of maybe finding a better seat. This hadn't at all gone according to plan. The girl was not about to help him.. Far from it. While scanning the room for a new victim his eyes fell on Lila, kneeling on the floor to pick up the books she'd apparently dropped. He hadn't seen her come in, nor seen or even heard her drop her books. But by the looks of it, it was the result of yet another collision. And the girl from the previous one, in the hallway, was involved this time as well. "Geez...", J.D. muttered to himself. That girl must be a disaster on legs, not having been in school for more than ten minutes, and already having crashed into people twice. He watched as Lila took a seat near the front, and pondered wether he should stand up and walk over, or remain in his seat for now. She didn't seem to be in the best of moods, and knowing from experience what that could lead to, J.D. figured he was probably better off not disturbing her. At least not right now. Instead he just yawned and went back to resting his head on his arms, doing his best to block out Mr. Chandler's ramblings. |
"well i don't really know anyone here. i've seen a few cute girls...why do u ask?"
"no reason, your kinda funny... weird... heh but in a good way don't worry" she smiled Mr. Chandler cleared his throught... "please open your books to chapter 3, i'll be right back" and the teacher left the room "i don't want to come back and see this place destroyed!" he yelled from the door. "wow, that teachers a freak... this is gonna be a fun class i can tell" said Naomi as she rolled her eyes. "i suppose so." said Jamison as he saw Sophia pull out her cell out and started to text some one. |
Jamison begged that Sophia was not about to text him!
He opened his book and read what was on page 3. Easy, he thought and returned looking at Naomi and Travis, he couldn't help it but he had the feeling that he was still flirting with her! As he was about to say something, his cell vibrated! A New Text message. He e sighed and opened it, it was from Sophia... |
Naomi smiled at Travis' comment about all the pretty girls. Somehow she knew that she was probably one of them. She pulled her book out and started to doodle on one of the pages, she didn't feel to much like reading a whole chapter. She looked at Jamison who was now texting somebody. She then pulled out her own cellphone and sent Jamison a text message.
"Hey hottie, I can't wait until after school. Luv, Naomi." she then noticed that Travis saw her cellphone, she wasn't quite sure what he was going to do, but she just looked at him for the time being. |
Jamison first read Sophias message, which said:Explain that to me!?, then he read Naomis message, smiled and answered. 'Can't wait too! Let this day be over soon
![]() After that he answered Sophias message. 'What do you wanna hear? I'm spending time with my new girl!?' He didn't knew if that sounded harsh but well what should he say, it was the truth! |
[She felt bad for the child, it had to be ugly. Ahahaha! :} That tickled me. The poor man. D':]
Albie's expression turned to stone when the teacher asked him what he had been doing. His insides boiled. You want to know what I was doing? I was standing there listening to a fat cow prattle on about nothing for about ten to fifteen minutes. He crossed his arms, and hid his irritation beneath a coy frown. "I'm sorry," he muttered. "I was talking to Miss Libby about the drama schedule. There was a lot she had to tell me, and unfortunately she didn't give me a note. You can call her and ask her if you have any doubts." With that he turned around, and took the seat nearest to him, just as the paper was passed towards him. He quickly scrawled his name across the paper, in pretty but near illegible cursive. |
Lila was stirred from her stupor by the sound of the desk creaking angrily beside her. A petite boy with raven-black hair had sat down suddenly after curtly addressing the teacher when questioned as to the reason for his tardiness. She couldn't help but try to surpress a grin at his response. Somewhat gutsy for a kid who looked so sugary sweet.
She watched him sign the paper in a flowery cursive that had more detail and design than even her own best penmanship. "Albie," she said softly, offering him a somewhat weak smile. "That's a nice name. Short for Albert?" she cracked her book open and read the pages that had been assigned, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye. "I've heard Miss Libby can be a bit chatty," she nodded with a slight grin, flipping the page. |
Mr. Chandler l Science Teacher
Mr. Chandler returned to the room after making some copies of today's assignment. He was still anxious to see his new baby, he wondered who it looked most like him or his wife. Right now he just wanted the day to get over with, but it seemed as if it was going to drag on. When he returned to the classroom only a few students were reading what he had assigned them. He sighed and dropped the papers ontop of his desk, they had to have weighed 20 pounds all together. Mr. Chandler then went and grabbed the paper he had passed around, the last person to have it was some girl named Naomi, she gave him a look of disgust as he picked the paper up. He had a feeling that this was going to be the problem child of the class.
He paced up to the front of the class and tapped a ruler onto his desk to get everybodies attention. "Everybody when you are finished reading the chapter I want you to come to the front of the class and grab one of these assignments." He lifted up one of the pieces of papers in the pile and showed the class. " I will be expecting these in by the end of the class, if they aren't, or aren't turned in i will be calling your houses and talking to your parents." There were groans coming from all areas of the class room, saying that the page they had to do wasn't only one page, but 4 pages in all. Mr. Chandler sat back down at the computer and began making plans for the rest of the year, he hoped that the students would learn to like him and respect him, but he knew that wasn't likely. |
Essa| Enter's Stage| Chem Class!
God! I can’t believe I have to take Chem. class all over again! Gees, it was fun at the beginning but it’s just gets annoying. Oh well, at least I know what I’m going to get.
Essa stopped in front of the classroom’s door and checked his watch. Crap I’m late! He thought to himself. Okay don’t panic maybe this one’s nice. Essa began to take a deep breath to calm his nerves, and he entered the door. Where’s the teacher? I guess his late as well! Take that Fate! He said punching his hand in the air. Suddenly to students crashed into each other, one of them was the female that bumped into him and the other guy. Essa was never good with names. I think I’d be better off if I set at the far back. I just hope I’d make it through with out some kind of comment. Essa opened his book and began reading, didn’t take him long since he did this already. |
(((ooc: People are chatting without paying attention, J.D. is sleeping, and Naomi is "the" problem child, just because she gives the teacher a look of disgust? Uhhmm.... *LOL*)))
|
((ooc: not your typical classroom xD At least Lila's pretending/half reading. lol.))

Albie Laroque
Albie was surprised by the soft voice drawing up aside him, “Albie. That’s a nice name. Short for Albert?” His gray eyes narrowed as his brow drew for a fleeting moment. He couldn’t seem to decide if the girl inquiring him was teasing him or being entirely serious. He nodded hesitantly. Judging by the expression lighting her lips, she didn’t seem to have malevolent intentions. Albie observed her with cautious eyes as she peeled open her science book. A look of remembrance passed over his features and he hastily scooped up the book from beneath his desk.
“I’ve heard Miss Libby can be a bit…chatty,” the girl commented and he could hear the scraping of the paper as she turned to the next page of the assignment. Albie chuckled a little, and looked upon the girl with a crooked grin. He provided her a small nod. “The rumors are quite true,” he responded, and turned his attention back to the book, having finally discovered the correct pages. “She’s a brute force, really. I commend her for that. Not only can she out-preach the pope, but her vast gut can block escape routes of any shape and size.” He licked his finger and turned the page, pretending to be absorbed in the inky text marching across the pages. Mr. Chandler stepped to the front of the room, and Albie and—most—of the students in the classroom came to attention. “Everybody, when you are finished reading the chapter I want you to come to the front of the class and grab one of these assignments,” the teacher then brandished one of the packets in the air for the class to see. “I will be expecting these in by the end of class. If they aren’t turned in I will be calling your houses and talking to your parents.” A loud groan was summoned from the classroom all at once so it sounded like some kind of moaning beast. Albie sneered. Judging from how simple the chapter was such a task shouldn’t be so hard. He didn’t see why people were such idiots. As he read through the last paragraph on the current page he was on, he questioned the girl, “So, you know who I am…who are you?” |
((wow, the teacher sounds like a real jerk... and we seem like a pretty bad class lol))
|
((No kidding J_cas! I've had classes like these in school though, so it's not all that surprising... when does this period end? Today? Tomorrow? Just wondering.))
Lila waited for him to respond, but Albie remained silent a few moments longer, elegantly arching his brows at her. Instead of an outright answer, she felt his eyes upon her, as if studying her for a few moments. She quickly pressed her lips closed, concerned that her question had offended him in some way. 'You should just leave people alone, idiot,' she mentally grimaced, burying her face in her book for a moment. A slight movement of his head bowed his neck into a nod, and she felt a slight relief settle over her. “The rumors are quite true, she’s a brute force, really. I commend her for that. Not only can she out-preach the pope, but her vast gut can block escape routes of any shape and size.” Albie's voice pulled her head back a little further from the confines of the paper pages that surrounded it, coaxing her out and telling her that he wasn't in fact offended. In fact, Lila couldn't help but laugh outrightly at his comment. She would be spending a lot of time with Miss Libby in the future, she reminded herself, as she was involved in the drama club. "I don't know from personal experience, but I trust your assessment. I'm in the drama club so I assume I'll be seeing a lot of her. I was supposed to meet her after school yesterday, but I lost track of time. Delayed the suffering a bit longer, it seems, according to your description." Lila flashed him a grin as her face peeked out from the book, her mind dancing to the thought of yesterday. J.D. had been the reason she had missed class, but he hadn't been the only reason she had missed after-school activities. The phone call she had received was the other. For a moment she wondered if he was in school, in the class even. She glanced around and finally her gaze settled upon him behind her, several rows and seats back. Lila nodded to him with a smile before sticking her tongue out and turning back to Albie when his voice called to her. “So, you know who I am…who are you?” Lila smiled brightly at him, brushing hair from her jade eyes. "Where are my manners. Let's see, according to this," she reached for the paper that had been returned to the front of the class and she pointed to her own signature. "Kavanagh, Lila." She set the paper back down and stood to get the worksheets Mr. Chandler had spoke of. "I'll get you one, Albie," she called over her shoulder as she went up to his desk and eyed the small mountain of papers. |
((I think each period is suppose to be 24 hours...and this one has gone on for several days!

J.d.
It proved impossible for J.D. to sleep in science class. The teacher kept yapping and at one point even came over to J.D. just to announce to the whole class that this "young gentleman" had just bought himself one week's detention for sleeping during class. J.D. didn't have the energy to challenge him. Instead he just flipped him off when he turned his back to go back to his computer.
Though the episode did wake him up enough to be able to keep his eyes open for the rest of the class. But he did remain slumped over his desk, caring all too little about what they were all supposed to do. He watched as Lila started talking to the raven-haired boy that had also been in the collision in the hallway. What was it with her and human crash test dummies? It almost seemed like they were to her what honey was to the bees. And to make matters worse, the boy was a goddamn prep! After yesterday, J.D. thought she'd have better taste than that. She did however flash J.D. a smile upon turning around and recognizing him. And then she stuck her tounge out at him, but before he could return the gesture she turned back to the dark-haired boy, and J.D. frowned. He didn't like that boy. Not one bit. For some reason, he was feeling possessive, but figured that after the way she acted with him the day before, what guy wouldn't be? For a moment he considered simply standing up and walking over to tell the guy to back off, but decided against it. Lila would probably bite his head off. Again. |
