You SHOULD be able to go into the gym and select where and what your sim does to work out. I have no idea why you can't. Sorry. Perhaps someone who has experienced a similar bug will be able to help you out.

Sorry, but if that's how it works in your game, you have a bug, too.

My legacy founder Sim lived at the gym until she had enough money to build a small house. The gym in Sunset Valley has a fridge (light meals are free) and a juice bar, showers and toilets. She took naps in the lounge chairs and watched television upstairs. And she met all the neighbours working out there. In fact, she met her husband at the gym.

If you can't go in at all, maybe the door is blocked? Have you tried resetting the lot? Or removing the door and placing a new one?

etruxell 16th Apr 2010 2:42 AM

my sim can go into it, but all I can see is the building. She goes in and does whatever I guess, but I cant see inside. I havent tried anything because I thought it was suppose to be like that but I just recently realized it isnt.

simbalena 16th Apr 2010 2:51 AM

Could the problem simply be that you need to go down a few floors?

There has been a bug where sims all get blocked at the door and can't enter the building. I had that once but it fixed itself the next time I went to the gym. That doesn't sound like your problem though.

etruxell 16th Apr 2010 3:00 AM

yeah I've tried that. Its only wit the gym though. I can go into the library just fine and see inside.

dizzy, MTS doesn't have a forum for requests. We do, however, have a thread in WCIF where creators who are willing to consider requests post: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=392614

If anyone in that thread indicates that they are willing to do object recolors, you should pm your request.

Thanks that really helps. Hopefully someone will take my request for that. =D Still getting the hang of this site, trying to find things and stuff. lol

OMG. I'm freaking out. My two sims had a daughter, then a set of twin girls. I was celebrating the twins' birthday when I think I may have clicked the cake twice for one of them. Now she's a child and has the "mean spirited" thing because of her "difficult upbringing". I really want to make her a toddler again. She's a TWIN. Not an older sibling. Please please please say there's something I can do and quick. I'm so sad right now.

Srikandi 16th Apr 2010 3:57 AM

Restore a save?

It's easy to age a sim up, but aging them down is harder :/

You can fix the trait easily enough though -- turn on TestingCheatsEnabled and shift-click her to edit traits.

xx.loveyou 16th Apr 2010 3:59 AM

is there anyway to make her into a toddler, though? I mean.. she's supposed to be a twin and this would ruin the whole family for me.. I wouldn't even want to play them anymore, tbh. :\

I haven't saved it yet, I'm too scared..

Srikandi 16th Apr 2010 4:09 AM

I don't know of a way, which is not to say that there isn't one. I do recall that some early experimentation with aging sims backwards in the modding community led to bugginess and problems.

You can always age the other twin to child too, and use the cheat to set her traits.

Even if you rarely save your game, saving before a birthday party is ALWAYS a good idea... there are too many ways they can go wrong ><

xx.loveyou 16th Apr 2010 4:12 AM

Yeah, it's 100% my fault. I really did mean to save.. I just didn't. I guess I can cancel out and just restart it.. but F*** I will have to do soo much. but I'd rather have it right than.. well, what it is.

thank you for your help though.

KarinL 16th Apr 2010 4:14 AM

If you haven't saved just quit without saving and start over. If you saved only once, get your latest back-up and start over.

Or if you did a ton of other stuff you don't want to lose, get Twallan's SuperComputer, edit your child Sim in CAS to age her back to toddler. It's probably best to remove the bad trait first (also in CAS).

You can even use SuperComputer to make sure both toddlers are exactly the same age again.

Don't think so. Mine, on his day off, just click on the grocery store and had an option to host an autograph session then. Think he was orchestral and not rock star, though, but I'm not positive.

Is it possible you are confusing the gym with the stadium? The gym should definately be enterable and viewable. The stadium on the other hand is just a rabbit hole.

I have another question. Its about that NRaas StoryProgression. I just downloaded it and I tried it out and it's great in all, I like that the whole town is actually doing stuff. But the notifications are so irritating. I can't play the game without a notification in the corner every 3 seconds telling me something. Is there a way for the town to go on doing stuff without being notified every 3 seconds?

While you should ask for help with his mod on his forum, yes, you can. In the global options, set notifications to just friends and family.

Can you make more than one sim family in CAS? And can you have more than one household like in TS2?

youko5 18th Apr 2010 2:06 AM

Is the 'My Love' moodlet a honeymoon couple only thing?
I have a couple that got married quite awhile ago who have never had this moodlet. But, when they first got married the wife cheated and the husband found out. They patched things up and he moved out for a bit. When they moved back in together and got closer this moodlet still didn't appear.

You can't make more than one household at a time in CAS -- if that's what you're asking. All the sims you make in one CAS session will start out in one household, but you can move some of them out after they're in the game if you want.

If you want to make a series of households, just use Edit Town to add more families to the bin. Then you can move them into houses.

And you can play all the households in town, though not at once, of course. Again, use Edit Town and then click the Switch Household button (lower left) to change between them.

Sim guests use to bring over food for parties, but now they don't do it anymore. (I havent played in months) The household sim im playing has the party animal trait & some of the guests are her friends. Is it random for guests to bring over food? Was it taken out in patches? (I definitely hope not, its one of the features I instantly fell in love with >:[)

J. M. Pescado 18th Apr 2010 7:17 AM

It's random.

Carolyn18 18th Apr 2010 7:56 AM

My sims want to be grandparents, therefore my question is whether their wish will be fulfilled if their children had children outside of active household?

Teddz0r 18th Apr 2010 12:39 PM

Yes it will.
