found this again. Didn't think I still had this 'hood. I did admittedly put a lot of detail and effort into this. Originally, I wanted to upload it but came across two problems; a disappearing grave which I still can't seem to fix/recover, and the amount of cc used is close to 2GB. Good to know I still have this; I was almost certain it got lost in a bad file backup.

I'm glad you found Plot of Land @HarVee ! I remember your pictures of this, looks really nice!

Thanks! Good news is I was able to restore the disappearing grave of Vincente Cortez. apparently, the grave somehow got moved to an 'invalid' neighborhood. I'm thinking this might have happened because of me changing internal neighborhood ID of Plot of Land from N001 to HVPL so the game got confused. |

There is more and more and two islands are fully finished!
|
They are adorable, I love the ship, is that hood deco? Beautiful houses and hood decoration!
|
Damn, putting my hood skills to shame. XD
I think it's the unlocked pirate ship? |

Unfortunately but I plan for this neighborhood to be unpopulated. That way, other people can create their own stories from scratch, and I'd love to see them! English is not my native language and I am afraid that I would make many mistakes... |
Well, it is everyone's decision to do what they want, but I think that language should not be an impediment!! The translator fulfills a function and the player does the rest xD
|
And then there is the Language Monitor ...ME I love playing "set up", pre-populated hoods. But is Does bother me when the writing is ... well, hard to figure out. So I would be delighted to help (with the English part)
|
I understand that the errors may bother you and I would be delighted to receive your help with my neighborhoods. ^^ I just wanted to say that if there are people who do not have the possibility of having help in the correction, they should not back out, in the future there is always time to correct it. ^^

Old terrain I made, I'm having fun making some lots for it.

Dramatic! but I can't play houses in a valley - and this is a DEEP valley! |

I love it! It's like a cozy mountain valley, I love the decorative use that has been given to the exterior roads as if they were highways :D |

The terrain is quite high in places, the valley floor where the buildings are is raised quite a height above sea level. But you would need a camera mod to play it, it would be tricky to navigate otherwise!

Thank you! I imagined that the highway roads take people right past the little houses in the valley, and the drivers would never know they were there! I placed the roads carefully so that where the houses are doesn't really have a difect line of sight to the bridge roads (so no change of passers-by realising there is a settlement there). It's called Hidden Valley. |

Downloaded some hood decor and retooled my Strangetown college town:
The Fort Dziwnowo air base and Military training grounds; in close proximity to the C&W Memorial College and medical research facility and alongside the Che'Loverde River: |

I've given HVPL a visual makeover for the Upcoming BETA 3. Replaced 95 percent of the cacti with birch and oak trees. Added a lot more Yucca trees, added an extra layer of dirt effect to the grassy areas.
Overall, it is now more in line with what a rural Nevada town looks like, which is what it's inspired from. |
The truth is that now it looks like a more lively town, and I love those dirt roads!! The field with the small planes is also very nice!! It is an area that always catches my attention.

Still a very heavy WIP, but here's some of my upcoming second 'hood. It's (obviously) Egyptian-inspired. Originally it was going to be a Spanish-style 'hood by the name of Los Diablos, but I changed it as I think this fits better. plus, I'm not sure I've ever seen an Egyptian neighborhood for TS2 before.
|
I love the two-lane highway you've got going on there!
|
I doubt that in Spain or Italy there is any place called "Los Diablos" xD "The Demons" does not sound very Catholic. Maybe for some place in South America where the names are a little more varied. But even so, your choice of something Egyptian seems more original to me ^^ Plus those pyramids look great!

Shifting Sands, Al-Simhara; With an assortment of ancient relics and fertile sands basking in the sun of the Al-Simharan desert, will the ancient city of Shifting Sands adapt to the modern world? Private tours, and small aircraft only at Matar al-Ruwh (Airport of the Soul) The Little Odeon has been the stage for many famous Simlish playwrights. With a central highway network, the local farms have easy access to what tourists call the "outer sands". |
