Can't get past Sims 3 launcher (RESOLVED)
 

EDIT 2 - It's resolved. For some reason, I don't have permission to delete my own post.

EDIT - now when I click on Sims 3 in the EA app, the Sims 3 launcher only flashes on screen for a second, then disappears and the EA app maximizes again. :-(

I played the game fine last night (Feb 1), and now I can't get the game to load properly, or even start. My first attempt, I logged in, started the game, but noticed the start screens were generic. When my world opened, it said objects were missing, and even some lots were gone. So I shut down and started over. Now, I can't get the launcher to launch. I start from the EA app, and if the Sims 3 launcher opens at all, it closes and reverts to the app the moment I try to start the game. I tried to reset the EA app, and nothing different happens. I haven't added CC or mods or anything between last night and today, I cleared all the temp files and error reports like I always do. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I rarely get to play during the week, so Saturday and Sunday are my main days to play, and I really want to play today!
