Hey thanks for making these nice dresses!

but i have a problem, i downloaded them and put the unzipped rar file into my downloads folder and i already have the mesh in game but the these dresses still don't show up...

I hope I am not doing something wrong

Try in bodyshop that came with the game if they show up there they also are in the game then.
Sometimes the dresses are within the game but won't show up in the thumbnails. Sometimes it get's a bit confusing within the game after some things are added and/or deleted.
Try one of these 3 things;

- Download and overwrite the files again. (if that didn't work try the next)

- in C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 you will find a folder called "Thumbnails" you can delete all those files in there. The next time you run the game then it will recreate all the thumbnails (make a backup first), it can lag a bit when you go to the cas screen or in the buy catalogue, but don't worry once the new thumnails are created it runs the same like before. (Also bodyshops loading time is affected the first time you fire it up again (mine 15 mins after deleting the thumbnail, so keep patience, because it looks like it is about to hang, but it won't), it should work one way or another. (if that didn't work try the next)

- Move your downloadsfolder towards another place in your hd (only the downloads folder), create a new downloads folder and place the Mesh and my 5 recolours in it start up the game. It should load pretty fast now, if they show up in the game. Quit it and move every content from the moved downloads folder in your new one. (Don't overwrite them again, just get all the other stuff back) Try it now.

Keep in mind if you don't crash out, or get locked within the game they are probably there allready but under a different thumbnail, so they are hard to spot then.
This happens most of the time after you've deleted some downloads, clothes or sims.

I remembered when i've made them i couldn't locate them either at first, the next time i reloaded they where there (?) maybe that helps to.

Try and let me know, they should work for every game, because it is a new mesh and also otherwise i couldn't take the pictures ive placed here.

PS To all, as you prob. noticed they have bigger boobs in this mesh then the maxis models, and when they are nude (showering) they change temporaly into a, ahum, let's say, lesser endowed body's, im working on a way to convert these outfits to work with a more voluminous bodymesh, so they could look like this all the time. Still working on it (so untill then, don't expect to see a new dolly parton in your shower)
