go to My Documents/EA games/The Sims 2/Neighboorhoods/N00(the number of the neighboorhood in which this downtown is in). There is a package called N007_Downtown001 (or 002 etc. if you have more than one downtown) and a picture called so. I think you should upload this file for the decorated one. But, I'm not sure if it works, I didn't check it :/.

Thanks for the info, i will give it a try.

Thankyou, this is wonderful! =]
But I have a question.
To which folder should I extract the decorated downtown? I have the undecorated downtown in my SC4 Terrains folder, so do I put the decorated one in there too and that's it?

Edit: Ignore that question. I found the instructions.

You know a site allowing re-upload of free build/buy stuff in lots ? Help us to update the list !

I really want to have this in my game, but I don't know how to install it. Where are the instructions?

The instuctions for the non-decorated 'hood are in the little notepad file labled "Read me" Read this first and do what it says and then for the decorated version read the file that says "Important Instructions" Read those carefully they contain everything you need to know about how to install the neighborhood.

*hyperventilates* Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod. This neighbourhood reminds me of New York City....i'm gonna faint just looking at this, it's so beautiful i love this neighbourhood. Even though we have to download the objects and homes seperatly, i am still freaking out about the way you set up the buildings and everything. OMG this is amazing.

Hi - i've downloaded the undecorated version and extracted the files in my SC4 Terrains folder, and its not showing up. I'm not sure what i've done wrong, though i've had this problem before with terrains. Does anyone have any suggies?
I'll start my game again and try frowning at the monitor - maybe that will work.
Edited to add: It didn't. (lol)

I know the creator hasn't been around in a while, but could anyone tell me if the decorated version of this could be used as a main hood, and if so, how I'd go about getting it to show up in game? I tried downloading the .sc4 terrain, creating a main hood using that terrain, and then replacing the N00x_Neighborhood.package and the N00x_Neighborhood image with the contents of the decorated folder (after deleting the _Downtown001 part of the file names), but it just made the freshly created hood disappear from my list of neighborhoods on the main screen. Would using the subhood <=> main hood conversion method by Mootilda work to get the decorated version to show up as a main hood? Or is that not going to be possible because the decorated version replaces files in an already created/attached downtown?

Either way, awesome terrain/decorating. Props to the uploader.

What a beautiful neighbourhood! I've sunk most of my weekend into furnishing it with lots, and am loving the way it looks :)

This is crashing my game whenever I try to play in it

I've used a modified version of this terrain for the downtown in my BaCC, using a ton of lit up NH Deco - it crashes half the time, but I can't just stop decorating it...

Note: Of course, I need a camera mod to get almost everything from that map on a single picture...

It also looks kinda good in daylight....

Thank you so much for this map!
