I was indeed lucky to have seen these-and once you do see them (and I hope you do) you will understand why the French Revolution happened. Versailles is restored to it's original state, and it is just mind-numbing to walk through all the rooms where all the walls just shimmer with gold, and you get sensory over-load quick.
But it was worth it, and you are truly one of the most wonderful "re-creators" of the glory that was the monarchy's architecture. The French may be difficult to understand, but at least they understand beauty. You have my sincere compliments in your work-it is truly outstanding.
Just wish I could download the entire series of your palaces..alas, my computer would die of overload, quick!

I've heard many people say the same thing about sensory over-load, Fran. I only have pictures and a dvd with a guided tour and even those just blow me away. lol.
