These are cool, thanks! By the way, you have better grammar skills than most people I see posting on the web.

That's awesome man! So much better than seeing these lame, colorful clothes with annoying logos on em, this is realistic for me.

You know what, I wasn't bashing anyone. Did I say "everyone who posts on MTS2 is a complete and total idiot, how come they can't spell anything right."? No, of course I didn't.

The sad fact is that texting and places like MySpace have created a generation of kids who, despite receiving a first rate education, choose not to post in complete, coherent sentences. Gone is the fear of appearing uneducated. I am speaking from experience. Both my daughter and youngest sister of of that generation. Both have received top notch educations and are far beyond capable of spelling words correctly and using proper grammar. Both choose not to. As do all their friends. I am not just talking about internet jargon like LOL and RTFM. I am talking about simple, everyday words and sentences.

The other day my 22 year old sister sent me an email with absolutely no punctuation, no complete sentences and no capital letters. Just a seemingly random group of words with an overall meaning. That is what I was talking about. This is what stands for writing today and it is widely accepted and widely used.

Now, maybe the face of the English language will change because of these kids. Maybe in the future there won't be a need for punctuation, proper spelling and correct grammar. But I hope not, because I think that would be tragic.

So, you see, I wasn't bashing anyone. I was speaking from experience. Maybe I should have wrote a longer post stating why I thought the poster's grammar was just fine, but it was meant to be quick and reassuring. And if you knew me in real life you would know that I am not someone who goes around bashing others. Not once have I ever chimed in on someone's post to point out they misspelled something or used improper grammar. In fact I rarely comment on anything.

cdelang, while I totally understand where you're coming from (and mourn the slow death of the English language along with you) this is... pretty darn off-topic... so let's keep any further comments on this thread (not just directed at you here but also anyone else who sees your comments and wants to respond) about the upload here - these gothic clothing racks - rather than grammar and stuff like that, okay?

HP: I agree and sorry for the long post. As a writer, I tend to get both incensed and long winded....easily! Thanks for keeping me in line!

debwilldo, that was rather asumptive. cdelang you obviously have a thing about grammar, and thats not what this forum is for. hysterical paroxysm, thanks for helping to end the conversation. if everyone could keep their opinions to themselves, the forums would be a nicer place. nobody quote me on that

masterkeyblade, it was made by atavera, and removed. you could just download the hot topic that includes the sign in it. that's the only way to get it now

my personal life can be supported by veiwing this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n2z-Q6x6eU and others on my youtube page. I believe there's a few building tutorials there aswell. I create rather sporadically, so excuse me if I'm gone from this website for months or years at a time.

There's a goth shop in the mall (similar to Hot Topic) in a story I'm writing and I saw these. They would be perfect, thanks!

I can back her up by saying she has a point there, most people online have no care to better their grammar, let alone their lack of proper and consistent spelling, something that I value in every human being, the knowledge and willingness to use proper grammar and spelling!
I for one despise complacency and laziness in spelling and in all things that demand thought and effort!

Every person should judge themselves and look themselves in a mirror and see who is staring back, if in disapproval, and reevaluate what it is in oneself that he/she can do and be better at instead of calling people names like grammar- and spelling-Nazi, and people who say things like that are insecure when they have the ability and the brain to correct their own grammar and spelling yet don't because they are lazy and complacent idiots who would rather hide than take responsibility and take criticism and correct their own grammar and spelling errors, and read a dictionary as if it were The Bible and realize another factual truth... Gay means Happy, Queer is the proper term for the definition that people use the former for, which is wrong, Queer is a man in love with another man, Gay is not the same thing as Queer in context nor in definition, and Bucks are deer, as deer have antlers, so when I hear someone use the word "bucks" in the context of "dollars" I tell them, "Bucks have antlers, Dollars don't, and if you must use another simpler term, say Cash"!

I'm just so sick of stupid people I encounter in public and at Kroger, where I work part-time, not that anyone should care, and I remember Ron White's words, "You Can't Fix Stupid"!
