OMG thank you for the School Bring Home Friend mod!! I play in a custom neighborhood with no Townies (only playable families) and custom vacation locals and tourists, and my Sim kids were bringing home vacation locals (instead of the local neighborhood kids i designed) Every. Single. Day. Sometimes 2 or 3. SO frustrating! You saved my sanity! Thank you!

Ah! THIS mod is why my sims keep bringing home friends without asking, I did wonder! I tried shoving a z on the end of the 'Bring friends home dialogue' mod but that didn't help.

Idk which i need to install? i want all the mods here but cant understand because theyre many of them TnT

I don't know if this may be a niche case, but your School Come Home Mod causes some problems if a child comes home from school with an A+ card and runs to show it to their parents. The thing is, I have a family where both parents are dead and one of the (teen) offspring is taking care of his brothers. The game seems to find no valid parent or other adult Sim and instead, in my case, picked the driveway as the go-to thing for the child to show his report card to, which obviously led to an object error...

I had to make changes to your School Work Lecture mod however, because of a conflict with Cyjon's School Sick Days. With the changes included, there will be no penalty and no scolding for sick children who decided to stay at home, even if they got healthy before the school day ended. All other code is left as-is. I'd recommend to only use this changed mod in conjunction with School Sick Days; I can't guarantee it will work without the other mod.

To be fair, my high school was sometimes open still on school days, and people could just go to do their homework, mostly. Classes were running, but a lesson wasn't taught if there weren't enough kids. I think my elementary schools were open too, but I'm not completely sure about both of them.

And now that I've typed that I realize that that means their grades shouldn't go up on a school day, so I'll use the mod until I find a mod that pauses their grades if they go to school on a snow day. Or until you make it. I'm not requesting it or anything, I just know that you and several other people are absolutely insane (in a good way) when it comes to Sims 2 mods and I am eternally grateful for everything you do. You, Nopke, Neder, etc. Just the fact that people are still making mods and fixes and content in general for my favourite Sims game makes me so happy.

@Phantomknight I'm sorting out my mods folder for a fresh start and also have that conflict to resolve. I really wanted to keep both mods.
Did you end up merging the mods? If yes, would you be willing to share it here?

@Biara25 no I didn't merge them and I think in the end I pulled Simler90's mod from my folder altogether because I wasn't seeing any noticeable results. It's been a while since I've played a family with school aged kids so I just removed it--one less conflict to worry about. I didn't do any extensive testing.

Does this conflict with another mod? This used to work in my game but now my sim teens go into private school but no bus shows up to get them and they dont go to school/ Their grades don't change. I'm trying to figure out what this conflicts with and what have I done. I have ACR, Inteenimater, Community skill mod maybe just a few others but not much. I'm not sure what has happened. I dont have the option to make them walk to school either
