I always end up with water in the basement floors for some reason. It's still playable but weird with the sims walking around under water.

@dionnemay , you're playing a neighborhood with a neighborhood water table that's very close to the surface then... Desiderata Valley and Veronaville both tend to run into this problem, but anytime the playable area in a neighborhood is too close to the neighborhood water level, you'll have that kind of clipping that makes a lot look partially underwater. If you put this in a different terrain (or even just raise the neighborhood terrain in your neighborhood before placing it), you should see the problem go away!
