The design tool window probably won't look wooden, but it will likely be usable. You'll have to make my file load after the Wooden UI mod. I would use the maxis version of my mod, it'll fit the best, I think.
In case you were wondering, I'm not going to make a wooden design tool, sorry.

Unfortunately it doesn't work The buttons are misplaced and where the extension should be is a black rectangle.
Worth a shot though. No large designing tool for me then (I'll survive).

Would you mind if I did some tweaking for personal use?
I opened the package file of the wider tool and the wooden UI one of the base game.
If I replace the right jpg's in the wooden UI base game package with the jpg's of the wider tool you created, it might work.

Well, this is the same thing that is supposed to happen with the right load order. You sure you made my file load after all the wooden UI files? If it loads later, the game should "replace" things for you. Try placing it in the same folder as your UI mod and adding extra ZZZs in the file name if needed. Also, it should be in your Downloads folder or one of its subfolders, not anywhere in Program Files.

Yes, I made sure the loading order was correct and it was in my Downloadsfolder.
I'll try again with putting it in the same folder.
