Ooh, good to hear, I was going to suggest exactly the same thing! Will look out for that -- it'd be nice to be able to add it to a variety of different-haired Sims.

I made it work as an earring accessory, however I need to check how to avoid texture overlap between the hairstyles and the peyot. I'll upload it as soon as I can!
