This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

Since takin up a university course in addition to my now part time work, its been quite impossible to get my hands on creating stuff for the sims. But with the 1 months break, i thought id spent a bit of time sharpening my meshing skills, and not surprisingly, I was very rusty at it. So apologies if some of the objects are not polished and so on.

Ive always thought maxis' bathroom stuff are a bit foreign looking to me, so Ive decided to make some common bathroom things (well in Australia anyway) while sharpening my meshing skills with all the nice shapes that bath things challenged me with. Most of the meshes Id just improvised as I made them, but they turned out pretty alright, well thats what I reckon anyway

Where to find the objects (please refer to picture with objects numbered):

1), 2) - Plumbing > toilet
3), 4), 5) - Plumbing > sink
6), 7), 12) - Plumbing > tubs
8), 9) - Surface > counter
13), 15), 16) - Decorative > wall hanging

10), 14) - Misc > fences
11) - Misc > gates

- Some objects contain recolours, included in the zip with the mesh

- Most of the objects such as the toilets do not have animations, as the designs made the animations awkward. But water still gushes out of taps and shower,/tubs etc

- Ive provided both BASE GAME versions and PETS versions of the bath tubs (6, 7). Both versions are included in the zips, but ive labelled them appropriately (i.e. pets with PETS suffix)

- Shower (12) needs University to function. The showers can be built using the shower screen and door (10, 11) as shown in the pictures, it's pretty versatile though. For 1 tiled showers, you'll need to use the cheat moveobjects on to place the shower inside the screen and door.

- 15, 16 are classified as paintings, but can be used as mirrors

As usual, please report any problems (think i'm really gonna get hammered with the large number of files, there's bound to be some kind of problems) and hopefully you guys'll enjoy the great aussie bath things.

I mentioned this time and time again, but i gotta say thanks to the SimPE creators, the people who provided tutorials in the first place, and lastly, modthesims2 for providing us the medium for creators to share their stuff.

Polygon Counts:
I've arranged the poly counts so they correspond to the numbers given to each object in the picture:

1) - 762
2) - 1488
3) - 1378
4) - 342
5) - 800
6) - 506
7) - 566
8) - 426
9) - 690
10) - 104
11) - 504
12) - 632
13) - 1330
14) - 385
15) - 12
16) - 12

Wow, they really are super-dooper fancy bathrooms, Mr Blake! Hope my Sims are richer than I am, because these look as though they are way out of my price range! Really love what you've done - thank you for sharing with us. :D

Wow! I thought I was gonna have to miss out on this when I saw that Uni was required! I'm so glad it's just needed for the shower. So it's a good thing for me that you included a tub These really look great in the game. Your work never disappoints. It's kind of funny to see my Sim using the toilet without popping up the lid. Doesn't cause any problems with the game, so doesn't bother me at all. Just gave me something to laugh about Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us!

I just wanted to add that I really love the taller painting you've included with the download. There's not one recolor I don't like! Also I love that you make your items affordable without making them seem worthless with five and ten dollar price tags.

These are amazingly well done. Just wonderful! I visited Australia a few years back, and I remember being amazed that something so very familiar could look so very alien! I imagine the same must be true for Aussies looking at American plumbing (even if it's just in the Sims world). The thing that seem most alien was the push-button on the back of the toilet. I kept looking for the little handle!

Thanks again. These are great.

Lol little handle? Ive never seen a toilet with a handle only push ones. Back on topic. This bathroom is absaloutely georgous. I wish i could mesh. Anyway thanks so much for this .

If you are insane, but still sane enough to know it, are you insane or sane?

Oh my God... I so love it... beautiful! <3

A renovated country-mansion, or something simply out of this world?

FINALLY! A beautiful bathtub for my pets! I hate having to use that hideous Maxis bathtub to wash my pets. I had a ton of custom made bathtubs that I cannot even use to wash my pets, and had to spend extra money just to bathe them. Now I don't have to worry anymore.

I absolutely love your collection. The set is extremely modern, gorgeous, and stunningly beautiful. The name lives up to the gorgeousness of these objects. You've done extremely well despite being "rusty." Thank you so forever much for these beautiful objects. I am grateful!

PS. Don't worry about the toilet not animating. As long as it's still usable somehow that's all that matters. hehe. Take care.

The wallpapers and flooring I made, the plants and stuff are made by me or maxis. Unfortunately, I really can't share those walls and floors cos my homecrafter keeps stuffing up.
