Awesome idea & implementation. As I mentioned before, I am progressively becoming a big plant addict, so these are appreciated. <3

I have only a small sidenote, inspired from your thread in S2C; these would be much more fitting in the build mode/garden catalogue.

Thank you once more!

TheSuccy - A planned change, related to that thread, and other upcoming related projects. Soon, soon... I wanted opinions before I did too many.

Edit: Aaaaand, done.

The plants are now recategorized to show up in build mode with the original plants, rather than decorative in buy mode. Please redownload if you want them in the other category.

Oooh, more shinies. And now I can use them, if I ever get off my lazy butt, to build a sim version of my house with flowers sitting in mulch. They're also perfect for my "these flowers will look more irregular and natural if I throw more on top of each other" landscaping methodology! XD

Also, not to be pedantic but if none of the words that Latin borrowed from Greek were pluralized via Latin grammar, Latin would be incomprehensible!

Pluralization (from non-Modern to today's English)
I'm a retired anthropologist, having mostly concentrated in the archæological/palæo-ethnological and linguistic sub-disciplines of that group---which had the nasty (but I don't think infectious) effect of having to be fluent in Classical Latin, Classical Hebrew, and three temporally-separated versions of ancient Greek.
Though the other one throws me at the moment (and the Superior will have me peeling potatoes for a month if I'm caught getting dictionaries from the Library only a half-hour before dawn mass), I'm fairly sure the plural for octopus is (or was originally) 'octopodes'.

There---that help confuse things even more??!!

Hooray, liverated (er. liberated.) flowers! Honestly, who actually does have such perfectly manicured, square flowerbeds in their front yards? This adds so much more realism and freedom of expression! :]

You said
All of the above counts are lower than the Maxis originals (as I removed all the solid bases). However, they are still high enough that you should be aware of it before you go throwing a solid ground cover of daisies across a huge lot. They're meant to be used one per tile originally - if you jumble them up, try to do it sparingly. Shouldn't be a problem, just don't go too crazy.

But I cannot but go crazy after them
daisies effect above all, but also poppies and pansies and cactuses... I am really in love :lovestruc
they bring spring and are emotionally impressive
at least to me :P

i love this, (as everything you do...) this is really going to cut down on those gardening cost. one question, will these help my 'perfect garden score' for my sims with the gardens, or is it just not counted?

either way you rock!

Stewie (after tripping Peter): Ha ha ha, oh my God! I almost didn't do it, I almost didn't do it! I thought, is this in bad taste? But you know what, I went for it. I went for it and I'm so glad I did! Ooooh, worth it, totally worth it.

These are fantastic, and really useful, thanks much.
I just thought I'd mention - I don't know if it's just me, since no one else has said anything - these didn't show up in my game until I installed Seasons, and you have them as base game compatible. So I don't know what's up with that, but I thought I should mention it.

HP--there are actually three ways of using the plural of octopus--octopuses, octopi, octopodes. It may have originated from Greek, but language changes over the years, plus octopodes is the most amazing thing ever.

the -us/-i thing is Latin. Second declension nominative.

Wonderful. The screen shots look great-can't wait to use these.
And good to know they CANNOT be interacted with...I have a family with a teenager that
keeps stomping on all my flower beds, and my gardener doesn't replant them (what am I paying him for??)

Thanks.

Thank you HP, this was a good idea indeed. The Maxis ones just look stupid most of the time. But...they tried...

Thank you, very much, HystericalParoxysm, for saving my poppy field within a Land Of Oz that I am working on (experimenting?) for Wicked_Poppies' new characters.

It was just becoming much more like a Land Of Gardeners, instead of Oz, with some totally unreal and constant weeding, watering, etc, for days on end.

("Experimenting" because too many lovely flowers will sadly equal a very bad lagging with their poly-count "weight". But a "Red Poppy" paint might be one feasible solution? Also I found that rows of White Lillie made an excellent boundary as a transitional flower to the poppies, to my Scarecrow's field and to the Lion's and Tin Man's wooded areas but then, there might be a need for another very special "paint"?)

These are great and every once in a while I have to forgo the regular garden for artificial decor.

BTW - Have you "liberated" any other plants like bushes and other flowers?

I really NEED them for hotels for BV. The plants die after a few days and my current project looks so barren without it since the main lot is a lodge.

EDIT: Just found your shrubs. I will add them to my downloads as well. Thanks for the creations.

I didn't use flowers at all at first because of that newbie plot underneath. Thank you so much!

I use the Perfect Gardens mod, so my sims can concentrate on their edible crops. These will be useful because I like to make some of my lots pretty.
