This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
WARNING: Some people have reported these paintings causing their game to crash. As of 2013, use at your OWN RISK.

For those of you who downloaded the "Antique" pictures, there is a slight fix - There was a spelling error in the "Mystery Man" painting. It said "eb teh" and it has been corrected to properly read "be the". This will NOT effect your game play at all, but if it bothers you as much as it does me, the package has been updated

Yup, I learned something new! These pictures have been sitting around the
whole break and I have finally applied them to something. Thanks to
Canoodle for helping me find a better way of presenting and organizing these
for you guys. Let me break it down for you. There are even pictures!

Colorful Set

Antique Set

Natural Set

I really hope you enjoy them guys! Any questions, comments, concerns, pop
them down into the comments section, I will gladly answer anything you
have to ask about them! Have an awesome day yinz guys!

Additional Info
This is the tutorial that I learned from, by xanathon

To stack the paintings, I used BOTH of my techniques called "acrostacking" and "geoblending"

Polygon Counts:
Exact same as each of the paintings currently in your game.

Additional Credits:
Cthru - For helping me get the program working
Canoodle - For EXCELLENT support and feedback, they look so much better than what I was going to present
Leesester - For pushing me to get off my butt and do these!
Flabaliki - The wonderful animated picture :D
Fanseelamb - For feedback throughout the process

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

When these files were in my game I'd try to save but it would go into a never ending save and I'd have to start task manager to shut the program down. It corrupted my caches and made my saved neighbourhoods unable to load, obviously this was easily fixed but it does show the files themselves are corrupted.

None of my saved neighbourhoods were even using these paintings, they were corrupting the caches just by being loaded in Buy Mode. It might not be every single painting that's corrupted but it's definitely one of them.

Alrighty, I tacked up a warning on the first post. Since I don't have the files to fix these (I am at uni right now, everything is on my old computer back home [maybe]) I'll just make it clear these are unsupported and should be used at people's own discretion.

Now streaming on at or - whichever is easier for you to type in your browser.

I checked all my downloads with Dashboard before running the game, and it showed these pictures as "corrupt", but there is an option to "fix corrupted TXTCs" (although I can't tell if there was a problem or if it's not there anymore). I just thought it is a good idea to check all mods before using them.
