June 2016 - This mod doesn't work anymore. Please, don't download until I update it.

15/06/2015 - This mod doesn't need to be updated for the 1.8.61 version.

I recommend you to check this mod: http://modthesims.info/d/547232
You can also have quadruplets, quintuplets or sextuplets: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=545348

This mod allows you to choose how many babies you want to give birth.

You have to download one of these three flavours:
  • 1 baby for sure: your sim will give birth to one baby. I included this because since the last patch (December 16), people are having too many twins and triplets.
  • Twins for sure: your sim will give birth to twins.
  • Triplets for sure: your sim will give birth to triplets.

Installation:
Unzip the package file to your Mods folder.

Usage:
Having ONE flavour of this mod installed while your sim gives birth ensures you she will have the number of babies you want. Keep in mind that you need enough space in the household. For example, if you want triplets but you already have 6 sims in the household, then you will have only twins.
You don't need to have any of them installed during the conception.

Resource overrides and compatibility:
This just modifies the S4_03B33DDF_00000000_06F6554A25E46FD0 XML resource.
It is incompatible with XML mods that modify the same resource. For example, MasterDinadan's "Longer/Shorter Pregnancy Lenght". But it is likely to be compatible with script mods like java7nerd's "Pregnancy Scan".

This mod is updated to work with version 1.7.62 or 1.7.65 (May 14-15, 2015).

Additional Credits:
velocitygrass for the Sims4XmlExtractor.
Kuree and all Sims4Group for the s4pe.
morgade for the Sims 4 Tuning Tool.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Somebody asked before you and I have been analyzing the possibility of creating that mod this evening. It looks possible, but I have to make more testing. I'll let you know if everything works well soon

Mmm, that's strange... have you got any other mod related to pregnancy?
If it is your first mod, have you got the resource.cfg inside "Mods" folder?

Yep, I would like to do so, but as it is more difficult, I have to learn more modding first. So yes, idea for future

I deleted all the other mods but one that reduces the pregnancy lenght to a day ... but I would rather have a short pregnancy than twins ... maybe thats the issue

Yeah, that's the issue but it has a very easy solution, do you have the s4pe instaled?
Tell me also if you want which other mods you had related to pregnancy and I can tell you if they are compatible or not.

Since I've read so many people having nothing but multiples after the December careers patch I have been afraid to have a Sim have a baby. In some instance, I want a set amount of children. If I'm on baby number five, for instance, and don't desire a sixth child, the last thing I would need is twins. Thank you for taking this fear from me.

Not able to get this to work. Have installed it properly, only have ONE other mod and its the nomosaic/no-censor one. No other pregnancy mods. Tried to get the triplet mod to work, have had 3 pregnancies and all were singles.

An obvious question but... did you have enough space in the household for 3 more sims?
