Changelog for v1.0.3669.40293:
* Changed DBPF library to not throw exception when key already exists (happens mostly on Peggy hairs since they have duplicate resources)

Story books are full of fairy tales, of Kings and Queens, and the bluest skies.

Is it safe to delete all of your .cache files that the program shows you?

Thanks a lot really. I know nth about modding and programing and I always experience crashes and lag after installing CC. It takes hours to find those bad packages. Using your tool, it become much easier.
I didn't experience errors using your tool. Thanks.

I have tried everything I am still getting bluelots and I tried all your tools to fix it and no luck - I'm going to have to delete all CC from my game all nearly 3gb of it and start over! I ended up reinstalling Sims3 and WA. Now the question is to patch or not to patch?

adalita_m, once you get a blue lot in a nhood, that nhood is usually toast. You have to actually start a brand new neighbourhood with fixed files for it to go away.

sunny99: I fixed a bug with the conflict detection so it actually worked properly. The previous versions obviously didn't detect all conflicts.

Rainbow_Brite: Yes

daman: What else can I say? Click the link, download. It's easy.

Saikatsu: Thanks. Does this file also lock up the most recent version too?

I have been waiting for a "miracle" program or mod and I think this is it Delphy. By removing all the Sims 2 files and other corrupt files, my game now saves in less than 2 minutes where it had been taking almost 20 minutes to save. And everything else seems to have been improved, game is no longer jerky and hanging up all the time. I sincerely and apprecitatively thank you for this program.

Not completely sure about this, as I don't know which cache files your tool lists, but one time I had an issue that the latest savegame didn't load (there was a tiny messagebox saying "serious error" and I should restart my game) after eleting the cache files. Before deleting them, the same savegame did load fine.

And I read somewhere that when you delete the WorldCaches some texts (Street or Household names?) in Riverview can vanish.

The other issue is of course that the game needs to regenerate all outfits, thumbnails, etc. after deleting them, so the game can load way longer after deleting them. (Of course it can also speedup game loading if there is a lot of junk in them)

So I personally would at least make a backup.

Adalita, I installed smokovic's Beverley Hills house and when I opened my game the following day it had Blue Lotted.
I was fortunate that I installed only two items that day and so it was simple to test which was the culprit.

I uninstalled the house in the launcher, made sure it was gone from the Downloads folder, started a new game and I have had no problems. I was concerned that any CC installed with the house may have remained in my game, but as far as I can see that is not the case.

I shall now trial downloaded houses in a "test" game before using in my "main" game.

jonha: The Riverview thing I think only happens on OS X - I've not seen or heard any bad things from happening on Windows. I wouldn't recommend clearing your cache every time you run the game anyway.

Why do all the window and door sets in my game show as conflicting with each other? Most of the windows I have are in sets with several different sized windows and it's showing that all the windows in each set conflict with each other. Is this just a mistake?

No, this is harmless in most cases. For example with a set it's possible, that some meshes or definitions are present in every package. Because the tool doesn't really compare every different ressource, it will show this as a conflict.

Conflicts are only a problem, if different "sets" or "mods" conflict with each other, for example if "random_baby_gender.package" conflicts with "longer_prengancy.package". But if "foobar_cm_shorts.package" conflicts with "foobar_cf_shorts.package" or different windows from the same author conflict with each other, there is in most cases nothing to worry about.

Thanks for clarifying this, I was wondering this myself.

I love this tool, I can't believe how clever it is made.

I do have another question though, this is not an attempt to hijack the thread and start an off topic discussion, however it is a question that comes to mind when reading some of the earlier posted comments: a lot of them are about issues regarding converted sims3packs and the effect they have on this tool.

the problem is that if you just "convert" Store Sims3Packs to .packages, the actual contents are "encrypted" (I use that term loosely).
This means that when my DBPF library goes to read a store file (which is a DBPP type) is can't, becuase the header is munged.

If this is the case, should I convert any sims3pack to a .package file at all?

Just downloaded the tool Delphy.
Every custom painting I have ever downloaded and some vases are showing up as Corrupt TXTC but have never given any problems in the game. I decided to have the program fix them anyway and now I keep getting errors.

Here is an example error: C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Objects\Qbuilderz_The_Fields.package: InvalidArgument= Value of "54" is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index

Each error gives a different value number.

Running the program again now though shows they are no longer corrupted.

Saikatsu: I took a look at that file. It's one of Chaavik's early packages, right? Becuase it's basically complete garbage. S3PE wont open it, I can't open it. The thing doesn't even have a valid DBPF structure. It's incredibly unlikely this thing would work in the last patch.

Menaceman44: I'll check out those objects. Thanks.

Here are the couple of different errors I am getting as I mentioned to HP earlier:

First one is relating to Peggy files (pops up frequently during the refreshment proccess after reaching her files)

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k...nv103669402.jpg

Next is an odd one relating to Aikea Guineas Multi facial piercings;

I hope these help - if you need any further info HP can bug me freely

SimplicityFlower: The Peggy file issue was fixed yesterday. Please re-download the latest version and try again.

Also, I have the Aikea Guinea stuff too and it doesn't cause any issues here. Can you retry with the latest version please?

Menaceman44: The paintings do indeed have corrupt TXTCs - this would be the case if they where made with S3OC prior to 13th December. However, I can fix them fine on my PC with no issues.

It was the latest version (note I give the version in the title of the Screens and you even wrote it on the top of the programmes window lol :P)
redownloaded though as you suggested and running it yields the same error messages.

The Aikea error only relates to that one file.

Peggy files and a CX-hair_raonsims_mhair38 file are resulting in that initial error I reported.
