This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

1955 Chevy Bel Aire Convertible by Dr Pixel
Updated Dec 6, 2008 to work with Numenor's Drivable Cars without NightLife game add -on. I also improved the convertible top cover.
The recolors are not changed, they will still work with the new mesh.
This is a drivable vehicle, it REQUIRES the NightLife expansion pack
Doors and lights work correctly, but I had to disable the WooHoo "fog" effect.
Sims can still WooHoo and Makeout, but there will be no animation -
they will just fade out, make some noises, and fade back in.
Although the car has a rear seat, your Sims will not use it - there is no animation for a Sim to get in the back seat of a two-door car - so your Sim passengers will treat this car as if there was no back seat.
This object may be recolored, and may be included in lot uploads
Recolors should link to this post so people can get the mesh
The mesh file is NOT to be altered or used as a base for other meshes!
Model was modified from the Maxis sportscar using the .Ms3dASCII export/import of SimPE.
The basic body shell was modified from a free mesh found on ArchiDOM - http://www.archidom.net/
Polys = 11989 (667 polys per tile)
The car itself includes the mesh and the Red/White exterior and interior color options. The recolors file includes the other three exterior and interior color options seen in the picture.
Thanks to Vampcat, Cevic, Numenor, Pinhead, and Willem for their advice and information about editing the car meshes.
