Dedicated to my beautiful Silky Terrier, Christy who passed away 16 years young this June.
Love you sweetie and eat more cheeseburgers for me in heaven!

Eyes modeled across 3 very different canines

If you install this and this does not modify existing dogs that means it only updates dogs that are newly created since pre-existing sims may become attached to their specific textures. This has not been thoroughly tested yet but in any case if you want to modify existing dogs you must use either awesome mod or twallan's mastercontroller and edit the sim.
Be sure that you have updated to the latest patches and also that you confirm that your computer can handle extra load, and ensure that you are not using the integrated graphics card.
If your system can just barely run the Sims 3 on minimal settings you may freeze or not respond when editing eyes. It is likely munching or chewing on the file.
This does NOT in any way shape or form edit the UI and only replaces GEOM and IMG files.

Just plop this in your packages folder and you're ready to go.

Hi everyone, Been a while since I've uploaded anything though I always made textures for personal use. I was however surprised that sims 3 pets didn't get nearly as much love as I thought it would so here is my humble contribution for default dog eyes.

Also note that if you like what you see I will upload the wolf with permission and also am refining my silky terrier when I have time. In addition look out for horse default eyes. I have it half done and just need someone awesome to "learn me" how to do the reflections.

Thanks for watching!

My Other Defaults

Wolf: By the wonderful Arisuka Fetching Dog Eyes by the amazing Traelia

S3PE: By the geniuses Inge and I believe Peter for which helped me with this default package.
And last but not least to the people behind MTS for hosting my creations. Thank you all for being awesome

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
