I didn't even know this was ever updated. I like how it still doesn't try to look insanely realistic, but still looks a little bit more detailed than the default eyes. Nice going! I only wish the light blue one was a little less... Well, light, and more blue, and the dark blue a little bit more saturated.

This is amazing! In love with this mod.
Still, I think you should make the download section more "clean" and detailed.

I love these to pieces!!
Do you think you would be able to add some options for heterochromia as well? I know there are some available but they're just accessoires and also I'd like it to match yours 'cause they are the best.

A great mod I never realized would come in handy. But after seeing that comparison chart, I'm sold.

Simply love these eyes. Just the perfect amount of more defined without breaking the overall style. Can't imagine playing without them.

By the way, seems like setting the occult flag for "Human" via Sims 4 Studio or a similar program fixes the current inheritance problems for the non-default, but enabled for random, color sets (blue, brown, grey, green). At least that worked for me.

These are the best eyes for the Sims 4 ever and I've been using them since they were released! Do they work properly in game though? I"m not even sure anymore.

I really love these eyes, and I would love to see these on my toddlers! Do you have any plans on making these available for toddlers?

Default Need these for Toddlers
These are simply the best TS4 eyes out there, I've been using them for ages, but now with the toddler patch... toddlers have brown eyes with no option to change, and the game crashes when I'm trying to add a relative in CAS - probably some genetics issue. I love these so much, really wish there was a Toddler fix.

Until she fixes them, you can fix your own files if you guys feel comfortable using Sims4Studio.
Just open up the eyes with that program. Click on the Warehouse tab on the top left, click on the first CAS Part line in the left box, and then in the right box click the toddler checkbox to add them to the ages that can use the eyes.
Do that for every CAS Part line, and don't forget to Save. Your toddlers should have every color available now.

*Before I forget, I actually came on here to ask you a question Helianthea. Would you consider making your SBC versions of the vampire eyes when they come out? I'd love to see the cat-eye pupils with your style.

For some reason, the eye colors looked much darker in live mode compared to CAS mode. One of my Sims had light blue eyes, and another had light gray eyes. In live mode, both of these Sims had darker eyes when I don't zoom in. When I zoomed in, there's very little difference between the two Sims' eyes. But in CAS, they obviously have different eye colors. I wondered if something changed since these eye replacements were last updated.

And yes, the toddlers I have all defaulted to dark eyes (or brown eyes) despite their parents having light eyes (like gray, blue, green).

I really do like these eye recolors, but not until these are updated, I may have to use other eye recolors until then.

These are hands-down my favorite Sims 4 eyes. Are there plans to update these and the other non-defaults in the future for toddlers and to make replacement eyes for vampires? Thank you!!

Hello. Can any Sims 4 Studio users help me with Pentabet's comment above? I am trying to update this mod myself with Sims 4 Studio but can not for the life of me work out how to get the page with the 'Warehouse' tab on it. I have attached a picture with S4S open and the mod loaded. I am using the latest version of S4S harmony downloaded today.

Thanks

Hi @verityjones, I see your picture there... you are automatically in the warehouse tab in your package there, so you are in the right spot, but it looks like you are missing the CAS Part lines and just have the replacement textures. You can't edit the information tied to them (the way I suggested) without those other lines.

***ETA: Sorry it took me time to get back to this, for some reason S4S wouldn't let me open the default-13 eyes the other day. I didn't realize that Helianthea's defaults were just texture replacements to minimize the package size (I think that's why?).

If you feel up to it @verityjones, use S4S to make a new Default Eyes package, and save it somewhere on your desktop in a new folder. Then open Helianthea's eyes and extract the textures to the same folder with something in the texture name telling you their order. Then import those textures onto the new package textures and save. It sounds annoying but it's pretty fast.

I've used my own version of these eyes for so long I forgot what the inside looked like, sorry about that.

So as a quick example, if you have a more recent package of defaults, you should see this when you click on the warehouse tab at the top left (I can make the picture smaller if it's too big):

When you click on a CAS Part line on the left, you'll see the info for it in the Resource side on the right; the age check boxes are what I was originally describing to you. Older eye packages will have the toddler box added when you open it with an updated S4S, but will not automatically check the box for you (which is the important part! haha). THAT is what the creators of all of those eye sets needed to update after the toddler patch, whether they used S4S or s4pe, or some other program to do it.

@pentabet Thanks for replying. Yes, it looked to me like something was missing. I am assuming it is something to do with how the original mod was made?? (I have no experience with S4S except for cleaning bad CC and could not find anything relevant in their tutorials)

If anyone has successfully updated this mod for Toddlers, can you please, please attach your file here!!

@Pentabet Thank you so much!! I am now half way through creating my own set, as you have done, with toddlers included . Just getting a little side-tracked editing the colours to get them exactly to my liking (arrrgh!! I should never have started that! Ha ha.)

Not that your colours needed editing Heliantheas, they are all gorgeous!!!. I just like playing around with things

Yeah one of the first things I did when I finally figured out s4s (I was just not good with s4pe) was extract a ton of her lovely colors and export/import until I found my favorite combination for defaults.

Glad to help. :D

Gosh, these are just so gorgeous! Apart from some CC that came with lots, this'll be the first time I add to my Sims 4 game.

I absolutely LOVE these eyes, but they haven't been updated for the toddler patch! I think it'd be pretty cool if they had their own heterochromia option as well. If I wasn't so afraid to try, I would have attempted to fix these so I could at least use them for my toddlers :/

Hey @pentablet, I'm having some issues making the SBCE compatible with toddlers. I'm not sure if its because I'm not using the default replacements, but when I try and switch my toddler's base game eyes for the SBCE eyes and go into live mode they just revert to a random base game color. For the life of me I can't figure out what to do and it's becoming frustrating Do you know how to fix this?
