First of all. HOLY COW I LOVE IT ALL. I'm a huge fan of your deco parking mod, this just takes it to an all new level. As soon as that one came out I went and put them in almost every single comm lot I had and made a few extra parking lot lots with them just for fun.

The only thing I think that could make this any more perfect is if you somehow figured out how to let us have turned driveways. My parking lots aren't always straight off the street and the house builders have been dealing with that problem for years. Any hope for us?

Wow, this does look like a GREAT mod. I just have a question. I notice the clash bit, and what if you have the driveway + extention recolours? I have the recolours that include the transparent one, would this mod conflict with those as well? I ask cause I am building a "Alaskan" like town and they'd probably have dirt parking lots.

I have had the same thought - know this - if I manage it - I will post it on MTS and it will work with this too.

If they are recolours and not whole packages containing the base objects as well, then they will be fine. If you have a link you can point me at I can check them out if you are not sure.

So exactly how do I put this onto my community lot? I saw your instructions but they weren't detailed/clear enough for me. Do I put decorative stuff on all but one of the parking spaces? Is decorative stuff necessary?

You don't need to use decorative parking spaces at all, they just add other cars around the car park so that it looks like you are parking among them. Perhaps you should just start by building an empty car park where one of the spaces is usable - so steps one and two and see how you go? Were steps one and two clear?

This is wonderful! I have used your decorative parking in almost every business lot I have built/demaxisfied ever since you made them, and now this! When my BACC inhabitants get access to cars (someone opens a car shop ) they will definately be able to park their precious vehicle out of harms way.

Thank you SO much for this wonderful, realistic, useful, AWESOME mod!! (I can think of many more words to describe this, but then it would be too lengthy!) I have never liked how they always parked on the side of the street, especially since I always build such huge and realistic looking parking lots (always using your car spaces!), that would be so perfect for them to use. I always figured that there was no way around this, and that it was just something that would always be an annoyance that could never be fixed.....well not anymore thanks to you and your brilliant talent! Thank you so much for this....my sims can now actually pull up to the parking lot and be right up next to all the other cars!! Yay, I'm thrilled!

First, thank you for ALL of your mods - I have them all in my game and really enjoy how they enhance game play, this one included.

I just wanted to let you know there may be something to look out for in case others have this happen. Everything works perfectly if the car arrives with this new feature in the lot, but when I took my sims on 'an outing' to a lot that DIDN't have the new driveway, (the lot design didn't have room) they arrived at the lot and were 'stuck' in one of the decorative spaces. So I enabled buy/build and deleted the decorative car, and the lot became unplayable.

So it appears that cars will no longer pull up out front at all (if there is no driveway in a lot) Or maybe the clash is with the decorative spaces when there is no driveway?

The 'glitch' happened after the sims succesfully visited a lot with a driveway and decorative spaces, then went to another with decorative spaces only.

Thanks again for keeping the Sims2 fresh and interesting for us 'die-harders'.

Edit: Just tried again with a different lot that has decorative spaces but no driveway. Same thing happened: sim was stuck.

Just wanted to report that when they went to a lot that has neither driveway or decorative space, they pull up the front as normal.

Please get the latest version of the decorative parking spaces mod as noted in the main thread - what you describe is an issue I noticed before releasing. Perhaps I should make the warning more obvious.

Cheers
Mog

This is such a good mod! I just have one question I need to ask--if I have Uni & NL, which one should I download, the NL only one, or the Beyond NL one? Thank you
