This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hi Guys,

Would you test this for me please....?

Made with SimPE v0.48c and Milkshape, it has its own unique (registered) GUID, is compatable with ALL games and is colour enabled.

Polygon Count: 211 (= VERY low )

This is a tree stump that your Sims can sit on!.
(the matching Table is HERE)

OK, nothing special (again! ) but quite pretty for Thanksgiving/Seasonal parties and Autumn themed stories and all that...

Oh, and it looks really nice when used in conjuction with the JWoods Autumn Wonderland Donation Set....

As it's a seat, it can be found in COMFORT/Miscellaneous

It comes with green grass (default) or brown grass (recolour)

Oh, and if you visited the JWoods Autumn Wonderland Donation Set a few days ago and the donation link wasn't working....it is now, so please consider making a donation...and you'll receive this set as a 'thank you' gift

Please report any issues...and thanks for testing..

Bob

LOTS: Please do not include this in any LOT uploads. It is here to raise awareness of the JWoods Autumn Wonderland Donation Set ....

(As with all of my items) please do NOT include my original mesh file in the recolours...please link back to it at this thread. .

Lastly, please do not clone or use on pay/subscription sites. Thanks

This chair stump is far better than the one I already have... or had, as of now.
And I'm downloading the AutumnSet to go with it right now. Great work, by the way and I'm happy to be able to make a small contribution for a good cause.

I think this must rate as the most tasteless thing I have read here in a long while. Please consider the impact of your words on the subject of your diatribe before jumping in head first. I'd then suggest you go look at some of the threads about this subject.

Boblishman, these objects are beautiful, and remind me just how gorgeous the countryside round here is (in rural Shropshire) where we still have trees, and piles of leaves - and I have the luxury to be able to go out and enjoy them without worrying about what and who I am going home to. I am off to buy the donation set now.

Sorry if my annoyance offends anyone, I was pretty irate when I wrote this.

bonkers: I completely missed your post here... What exactly is it that I should do next? My wife and I have called for every bit of aid there is for us... We have called FEMA 15 times... Red Cross for weeks and weeks day and night until finally getting through!
Do you think I set up these threads? Do you think I asked or made these creations?! Maybe you should ask the folks behind it how much convincing they all had to do before I gave in?! Maybe you should take yourself to Slidell, Louisiana and have a look? Maybe you should download the video I made and clearly hear my voice and see what many feet of water engulfing ones home is like. What the is wrong with you? Maybe just maybe you should grow up!!! You know what I think? Give this guy the set as a donation from me for because obviously he also needs help, just a different kind!

Boblish, I am sorry to have to comment in your thread of good like this but a comment like that will not be ignored by me...

EDIT: Oh I am sorry I forgot to explain exactly how I am updating and able to use my computer... The folks I am staying with along with the other trillions of folks in the world have an internet connection... As the water started rising in our place I grabed what I could and ran it up to higher ground, one of those things was my computer. In fact it was the first thing after my family was safe. It is my hobby and has been for several years... Is there something wrong with saving that and/or anything I could?!

Hi Julie,

I toally agree with what you've said. It's a shame that some (thankfully only a few) people jump in and make stupid remarks about things they know nothing about. This person really should be ignored (and probably pityed, because ...well let's face it...they're a bit sad.... This cretin probably doesn't believe in the Holocaust, thinks the earth is flat and that babies are found in cabbage patches....well, at least she chose the correct username!) )

oh...and btw.... I know what you mean about the countryside....I only live about 25 miles from you...

Lastly, thank you to everyone who has donated :baloons: ...and received the donation set. You kind comments to both Jack and the team who put this set together are much appreciated.

***** PLEASE NOTE *****

Do not upload any of my original mesh files ANYWHERE...either as part of your recolour posts or included in any LOTS or SIMS. Thank you

Same here, I've been trying to cut back on downloads and shrink my downloads folder.. But every time I check this site, I end up having to download something. It's very realistic, and creative. Thanks Bob!

Wow.. That was a failry ignorant and cold comment. If you would have looked for more information on the site concerning Jwoods. http://www.modthesims2.com/showthre...?t=87245&page=1

yea, he made up the entire hurricane Katrina story just to get 5 bucks out of people.................

Wow! Aint the world a small place! I thought I was the only person in this area to even have a computer. Most people here (Bishops Castle) don't know that the wheel has been invented... but we do do lovely autumn foliage. I catch the bus every day to Shrewsbury on the A488 and it is a picture in the Onny Valley this time of year.

Keep up the good work, I love your new meshes, and since I am too inept to do anything beyond very bad recolours for my own delectation and delight, will keep downloading other people's designs for ever. My husband bought me the Sims 2 to keep me amused after a particularly nasty illness knocked me for six for several months: he now regrets it. I love it.

I honestly believe that you should look, read, and think before you speak. Not knowing the facts can lead you to make comments that are as far off base as you can get, including this one.

You owe Bob and JWoods a rather lengthy and heart felt apology and I for one will be looking to see it made as publically as your previous comment was.

"You know nothing of our lives...." You're absolutely right. So, how do I know you're not lying? Reading is not an issue here, so stop saying "read before you know all the facts." It's very easy to write something on the internet and then tell people to read it and say that it's fact. So, I think in this case, reading the "facts" just won't cut it, because it could be all lies. I'm just another person on the internet. You guys could be doing something very nice, or very evil, but how would I know? How would all the peopel that donated for this set?

If I was a Disney Kid, I'd want to be known as the Disney Kid that said NO to singing.

Bonkers: If you don't want to donate.....then don't. It's really that simple.

If you want to believe that this is all a scam......then do. I couldn't give a f*ck. I know what I'm involved in .... and you don't.

Now please....refrain from posting you're silly comments on my threads. Isn't there something USEFUL you could do?

Rest of you guys: Please, ...just ignore her. She's attention seeking...and...well...it's just boring!

Boblishman, you set is good! I'm hoping to contribute to the donation when I build up my account first. JWood, I'm glad you and your family is safe. Don't worry about these silly person who doesn't understand. I know how you are going through. I too live in a Hurricane State... Florida.

Boblishman, keep up the good work of your sets. I think it's great.

Perhaps, you could make a Turkey for the set? Give it more of a Thanksgiving

As most of you know I was born in Rhode Island, lived in Coventry for 35 years and moved to Louisiana where I lived up until the 6th of October. I am embarrassed by the fact that this person is in fact from my home state. With the fact that her imaturity is getting the best of her I will refrain from giving her back what she wish's for. What comes around goes around and in this world that is something I don't take lightly. All I can say is grow up and do your homework as I will do mine...

Thanks for sharing your creative talents with us. The table and stump are great. I've downloaded The JWoods Donation Set and expect to be using it shortly. Autumn is the best time of the year.

Thanks also for directing us to the Donation site.

Oooo....very pretty (same with the apples and table, which I'll download later) well done to the creator, you are far more talented than I am - I can only just manage recolouring and slight editing of clothes! lol

Somehow, I managed to notice a link to a "donation set" of some kind...(dont know how - lol)...and decided to get it. Although I didnt actually look at what was in it, just why it was there, but I glanced at the pictures while waiting for the next page to load and they all look lovely and "autumn-y" (:err: thats my new word)

Jwoods - I understand saving a computer. I know I would - if there was time, after family, friends, pets etc - Im not sure how Id survive without it :o! If only for the company of the people I talk to online. And as I see, you have great people on here also. I hope everything starts getting better soon and you can restore some sense of normality and leave this horrid event behind you

On the subject of Hurricanes though - I hope everyone who is near Hurricane Wilma, or knows anyone that is, stays safe and well! I hate seeing it on TV and not being able to do things to help - seeing all the children orphaned makes me so sad Im just glad there are ways to help - by giving small amounts of money. Whether its to one family directly, or to people that do ahve the ability to phsyically help others. Its nice to be able to help form here

OK, well, Ive rambled on enough - and its only my first post! :o! - so I'll stop now! Great work on all the items and thanks for making them :D

Oh one more thing that I just remembered: On the "Turkey" idea...I believe in the Sims 2 Christmas Party Pack there is the ability to make a Turkey Dinner (not just like in the game normall, I *think*), plus it has other Holiday items it says...so maybe it will be in there

Thank you so much for posting these here. I had heard that JWoods was a victim of Katrina. I feel like my $5 will go a lot farther by giving it to them than it would have if I'd donated to the Red Cross. (Sorry, but there's a lot of money wasted there...)
