these are AMAZING! i have never tryed recoloring, i dont know how! but i want to learn just so i can have a go with these! not only are they wonderful how you have coloured them, but they are really inspiring! i have *so* many ideas! thank you so much! :D

I'm not much into horses, but in Path of the Ming-Cho, Rob and Hannah's house is set in the countryside. I guess it would make sense for the neighbors to have horses grazing...

WOW .i just got an idea. wonder with PETS 2 coming out ..and with these meshes ....dogs can walk, run and all ...i wonder if u can put the animations of the dogs and cats onto these meshes and have Real moving Horses ...........just a thought....

I think that a lot of people would like to have horses and such on the game like us...
maybe if we insist replying there with our idea of having horses in the game, we'll be listened by the sims producers, we can try! So...what do you think? Or other idea which probably works...

& yes...I love so much horses, I would love to have one in real life ;]

wow, im a horse-lover and I dont have rar I tried downloading other mares which were BEAUTIFUL and zips, but I just found out I need a rar MESH for them!!! Well, if you could make more with different colors/markings/ect. for zip... that would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much! *congrats on being faetured! u earned it!*

rar is just a compression just like zip. You can use WinRAR or I use Winace to extract them. You can get free trials on them. Hope that helps.

Hi SimLana71, Ive had this problem too. my Boyfriend thinks hes has found a solution, here it is - but i havent had chance to test it (i will be soon). hope it works!

Start SimPE Go File->Open… and find horse package
When it loads, select texture image from the list on the left
Right-click on the mane texture, and click extract
And save it somewhere safe
Now select material definition from the list on the left
Right-click on the mane definition, and click extract
And save it somewhere safe
Go file->close
Now use the object workshop to open the horse package, and select recolour->start
Save it somewhere safe
When its loaded, right-click in the top-right box (the big one) and click Add
Find the texture you extracted before and click open
Repeat for the material definition
Re-colour as normal

I think you did a great job!! They look real. So much better than the few that I have found to download. I can't believe they are not including horses in the upcoming game myself as so many people request them. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of it. Again, thanks!
