I did it!!!!!

I fixed the original file and can now change the color of the mane!

Here's the tutorial that made it possible:

And here's a pic of my recolor.



I cannot upload this though without the original by the creator being fixed.

I just emailed Dragon_Slave the fixed file so hopefully it will be up soon and then I can post my recolors for download also! I can't wait to have yours!

I agree that it's a shame they aren't including horses in the pets ep - would add a whole new dimension to game play. Aw well, this will have to do for now.

You can always make horses after coming "The Sims 2 Pets EP4"

We have more cars made from "The Sims 2 Nightlife EP2", you can make horses after "The Sims 2 Pets EP4" come

They are absolutely stunning! I can't believe this is your first attempt - you are truly talented! I am dissapointed as well that there won't be any horses in the new EP, but I look forward to your idea about possibly making some rideable horses! I also look forward to your new meshes...if these are an indicator of your work to come, I think you are on the way to becoming a very distinguished creator.

To those who made recolors - fantastic job, they are all beautiful and I am adding each and every one to my game as soon as possible!

These look great in game, thanks for them Something i noticed is that if my sims try to view one of the horses (i dont remember which, i think the bigger one) an error occours. Way to avoid this, dont view the horse

This is totally unbelievable! Your horses are so beautiful. They were exactly what my western town was missing. No longer do the stables stand empty, or with no horses drinking from the trough. Yeehaa!

Thank you for your georgous horses! i can't belileve how great they look ( i like all the recolors other people have done too). i wish i was online more this summer, as have missed tow months of having them in my game (too many horses in real life .
