Hi, it has been while since I released an update and here it is Please read the main page for all changes

NEW 22/07/21

Reduced customer waiting time in the restaurant, you might see some people leave

50% extra customers seating in the restaurant, default was 20 now its 30

Double off the lot earnings (you can still looses money if you open off the lots in a quiet time)

Faster levelling up the stars, if needed

Waiters needing toilet less and peeing themselves

Host spawn fix, fixed an issue where the host would not show up

Waiter spawn fix, fixed an issue where not all the waiters showed up

Waiters cleaning increased. I have read and see this issue where waiters just stand and don't clean

Customers leaving quicker after their meal

The mod doesn't work with 1.77 and Cottage Living, people that I hired are not showing up!

Yup. I think it was another mod causing this (I assume Keep Sims at Home Region), now everything works perfectly!
If I may add, these are the futures that I would love to see:

Host x 1
They no longer walk all the way to tables with each restaurant patron, nor talk with customers outside of host station animations. Customer groups come in, book a table at host station with host, host then tells them where to go with a wave of hand instead of walking and talking. Customer group then goes to table by themselves. Also hosts do not get side tracked into conversations with sims for ages, nor turn catatonic and forget they have to return to their workstation on the other side of the restaurant.

Waiters x 2
Waiters no longer clean the tables, there will be a new NPC that will take care of it. Also waiters will no longer clumsily drop food while serving, unless they have very low fitness skills.

Busser x 1
New NPC type incoming. More commonly referred to as a busboy, busser is the gender neutral title of the role. That staff member whose sole purpose is to clean away the dirty dishes. The uniform chosen for this NPC is the barista uniform from Get Together EP.

Chefs x 2
The interaction times with the chef station, chopping boards, pots and pans are much shorter, ergo faster chefs. Their moods stay positive as they no longer get angry for being busy. Default 5 food orders waiting makes them rage and food quality drops, now set to infinite.

Guests
Guests are heavily pushed to prefer conversations with their own group, so they always sit at their own table with friends and very rarely wander off to talk to other visitors.

Many object and sim interactions are banned for restaurant diners leaving only the ones that are important for the restaurant. It's a restaurant, they came, they sit, they wait and talk with each other, they eat and after they talk a little (or a little more) and leave the restaurant. Only Children and up can visit the restaurant.
If this also would be possible, instead of just leaving, a new interaction for the owner of the restaurant would be to ring up a customer at the end of their visit (could be just an addon and would work similar to ring up at the register mod for retail).

coolspear (the author) no longer updates/supports their mods so if all of the above could make it into the newest, updated game I would found a joy in The Sims 4 Dine Out again.

Host x 1 This is something I have also thought about. It would be better for the Host to stay and just greet the customers

Waiters x 2 also another good suggestion. I had been working to have more waiters up to 6 which is not far from being finished

Busser x 1 an extra clearer would be useful

Chefs x 2 This is an easy one to sort out and in my current testing mod I have this

Guests An interesting idea, I know the mod you mentioned
