This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
11/09/2007 - Added Base Game Compatible. I have tested this version with base game and this one is found under Knowledge/Exercise. I have only replaced the BecksRideableTricycleNoEP.zip it will work with any combination of EP too.

Please only download the file named BecksRideableTricycleNoEP.zip
it will work with all EP including BV.

09/22/07 Finally I found the problem that caused an error when toddlers get off. I've also redone the mesh.

09/01/07: Added Base Game compatiable version this version also fixes errors that have been reported. If you are having problems with the pets version please download the non ep version and delete the old version from your download directory. Both version have the same GUI's and will cause a conflict if you have both versions installed.

08/20/07: Added code to so children and toddlers will gain fitness. Thanks so much to niskye for the suggestion.

Phaenoh has wanted this for awhile now and I finally got it working close to what I wanted it to do.

Gizmo7680 also requested this. Thank you both for your request.

Note: Toddlers have to be in the same area of the tricycle to get the option to ride it. The play with option will come up if they are not close enough to the tricycle. There are 3 files required to have this work properly you need to have all of them in your download directory. The recolor is the only file that is not necessay.

This is found under General/All...I tried to setup a seperate classification you will sometimes find it under General. If it's the first time you go to General.

This tricycle can be ridden by both toddlers and children. They can also play with it like the remote car. Adults also have this option. Watching give all including pets fun.

Toddler get on by themselves using the pottychair animation to get on. Animation is a little strange but it works.

The kicking animation that I used came from the high chair and gives the appearance of toddler peddling the trike.

I've included a pink recolor, I do find that when toddler end riding the trike that the original color (red) returns. I have had this problem with my other rideable items and have not been able to figure out the cause of this. Please don't report this as a bug as most likely I will not be able to fix it.

For those with Pet Stories I tested this it and and it work great.

Without out her I'd never have found out about Shaklin. FeeEssen besides being a great creator is also a wonderful person to know.

Shaklin a retired creator that created the first rideable item that I know of. She allowed us to clone her items although I did not do this as I wanted to learn how to do these things myself. I did use some of her very clever ideas.

Echo for her great tutorials and answers to question on coding that she has been so helpful with.

Thanks all of you so much for all the help you ladies have gaven me with my creations.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Someone in game help can help you. You do have to enable the custom content option then exit and restart the game. Not everytime you start your game just once. Once you enable it it will stay enabled as long as you restart you game after the first time.

This is just amazing. Thank you SO much! My toddlers finally have something to do outside while the grownups do their thing. This looks just perfect in the game and I love watching my little ones zoom around the lot! (Although I do have to keep telling them not to ride in the street!) I can't thank you enough. Quality toddler/kid stuff is one of the big lacks in this game and it is just terrific finding someone who is filling that gap. A thousand thanks.

I am getting error messages similar to the one I posted in the Rideable Bicycle thread. When a toddler uses this autonomously, an error is always thrown when the toddler gets off. Teens and chidren exiting the bicycle autonomously also throws an error every time.

Also, a toddler was riding the tricycle autonomously and I needed to put him in bed so I cancelled it out of his queue. The toddler was frozen in mid-air in a sitting position, no longer on the tricycle while the tricycle kept driving all over the lot,. I had to force an error to reset things. Then the tricycle quit moving and the toddler was normal again.

This last bit is just a minor annoyance, but often the trikes/bikes are left in weird places like across the street or other places that are nomally 'out of bounds' and not part of the lot that you can place items on. Then I have to go into buy mode and move the bike back onto the lot so that anyone can use it again.

I've never seen them use it like the remote controlled car. Do they do this autonomously or only when instructed to?

I'm including the tricycle error in case it is different than the bicycle one.

Thanks for your thorough report. It is probably the same problem as the bike. I'll try to fix this also. It does work like the remote control car as that is the item I cloned. I don't think the play with is autonomous, but to fix the ride portion I will take out the play with option as that seems to be a part of the problem. That's what I did to the bike.

Have you downloaded the new childs bike? Just want to know if you are getting the same errors now?

Yes, I downloaded the new child's bike yesterday. But I've only had a short time to play and no one has used it autonomously yet. I'll let you know one way or the other what happens. You said you didn't test it on teens. My teens have been happily riding it and it is working identical to the way it works for the child. Except I didn't pay any attention to the pedaling. I'll have to look at it next time.

Also, yesterday my toddler turned into a child. Then the child got on the tricycle and rode it around. It worked fine except for the same error that I already reported. So evidently children can ride both items.

*All of my testing has been autonomous use.

Thanks magicmoon.

The animation is not perfect. I have to use the animations that are available in the game. They do not actually pedal the bike. The animation that I actually use it the toddler leg wiggle from the high chair.
