This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Hi everyone, this fireplace works just like a Maxis fireplace. It installs in a similar fashion to my modular stairs, and I've included a README file in the download to help you get it set up. Make sure you read that first. Should work for everyone, with or without the University EP.

There are 8 built-in recolours and the polygon count is very low.

Let me know how it works out for you.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

I think i've got something to improve:

When you place the fireplace, then the chimney on the floor you placed it is nice

but in the higher floors it's just a little pipe

Please change that and it'll be wonderful

Wow, its almost exactly like the one in my frist apartment, only I couldn't use it cause magpies kept nesting in the top, but I did like feeding them more than keeping warm

I found my sense of humor, it was in my back pocket all along.......

Thanks again for this. I was wondering if it would be possible to do ine with just the base and the fire, with no glass and no chimney?
