This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

hi all

well, i've been working on these for a few days now, and i really like the way they've turned out...hopefully you will too!

this adorable jacket for this mesh was taken from an adult outfit 'unlocked' from the h&m stuff pack released earlier this month (a jacket which i coincidentally purchased from h&m before i even knew of the stuff pack). i resized it for your sim girls and added a loose tunic top underneath with comfortable jeans. *note* I was not able to lose the 'breasts' look of the jacket based on the original H&M Stuff outfit for adult females... I hope you can ignore it!

there are 10 textures for this new mesh: some have converse sneakers while some have cute leather flats; some have patterned jackets while others have printed tops underneath... your sim girls are sure to find at least one combination that they love.

PLEASE take a moment to press the 'thank you' button or leave a comment if you like these...i promise you, it means the world to custom content creators to have positive comments when we share our work for free.

enjoy!

download info:
there are three zip files attached to this thread...

+ download the helaene_hmkid_meshonly.zip file if you only want the mesh (for instance, if you'd like to include it with a recolor you've done)

+ download helaene_hmkids_withseasons.zip if you have the Seasons expansion pack installed (so that these outfits can be used as both casual and outerwear)

+ download helaene_hmkids_withoutseasons.zip if you do NOT have the seasons expansion pack installed.

notes:
as always, please feel free to make new textures for my meshes. you are welcome to include them with your new textures anywhere except in pay-only downloads. it would be great if you would give me credit for the mesh at the download site, and perhaps a link to helaene.com.

(minor) mesh issues:
there are a few small bleedthrough issues...one notably in the right shoulder. when your sims sit or lay down, the underside of the tunic displays poorly. if i'm able to resolve these minor issues, i'll reupload the files.

Polygon Counts:
mesh statistics:
+ available for female children
+ fit/fat state enabled (see attached picture of fat state)
+ vertices: 1890
+ triangles: 2648

Additional Credits:
a huge thank you to tiggerypum and drpixel...they are the guiding light to all aspiring meshers out there. if they can help ME make something like this....they can help ANYONE! <3

Thanks for these clothes Helaene! As someone quite rightly said, there don't seem to be much choice of kids clothes!

These are absolutely fantastic. My little girls are little fashionistas now! Thank you for them, and for all of your hard work that I know many of us enjoy and have enjoyed for a long time.

I would love this for my teens, too!

Darn! These are SO cute, a real "must have" for my sim girls. I'm not too thrilled with how the maxis adult version of this outfit came out, but you kiddie version is amazing!

Thank you

These look really great! I just can't bring myself to put them on my Sim girls, though. It seems kind of strange to have them with breasts in their everyday clothes. These would be awesome for teens, though!

Its a cute outfit but as a few other people have mentioned they have too big chests for little girls and it looks a little strange.
