Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

The Chinese Take-Out King is obviously my take on the Chinese Combo King chain of restaurants. I needed a Chinese restaurant in Bridgeport--I mean what city do you know that doesn't have one? I really liked the way this one came out, so I decided to share.

The restaurant has a contemporary vibe, with a little Asian zest to liven the atmosphere. It's built on a tiny 10 x 10 lot so it can easily be placed anywhere.

This lot has NO CC, all you'll need is WA.

Please note that the food register will not sell Chinese food. Instead, it serves "regular" food such as grilled cheese and pancakes. I know there is *some* hack out there that allows you to buy regional foods but for the life of me, I cannot find it. If you do know what mod it is, please post and let us know.

Got Late Night?
If you have the Late Night EP, you ca use the tip here submitted by the fair and lovely lozmc.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I used this idea. The Fusion Lounge looks lovely tucked just outside the sports/concert stadium in Twinbrook. You did an excellent job with the details on this! Thank you.

This looks great! And seeing as it doesn't serve Asian food, won't setting it to a 'Fusion Lounge' force anyone who visits to arrive in Formal Wear? D: If anyone still knows of a mod that can change the cash register to sell Asian food - That would be great. I love this lot, thanks! :D

What did u choose for the type of community? I don't know which one to choose. I just want it to stay as it is instead of changing it into a fusion lounge.

Great little building.
I have a problem though, took out the counters and cash register and have tried both the dive bar & professional bar in it's place and set the lot type to "fusion bar" but I cannot order interact with the bar as there's no mixologist on the lot.

Any ideas?

The only thing is that the WA food register won't sell "chinese" food, just the standard home world food like hotdogs and pancakes and apple pie.

"Holy Shift! Check out the asymptotes on that mother function!"

Absolutely perfect! I've been looking for an Asian-themed restaurant/hang-out place to put in my world, but people seem to think bigger is better. I love your work, I'm a big fan!

i love this. its beautiful.

but i especially love the soul-sucked look of the cashier in every picture; there she stands. shes 17 and works for her family because she has to. daydreaming of graduating high school with her parent imposed 4.0 gpa.....oh how she longs for the freedom of the college her parents also chose for her....because ANYTHING is better than this

Years later and I'm still using this little gem! I change the decor a little in every world I install it in so it always seems like a new place. It's so tiny so there is always room! The Late Night tip about changing the register and lot type makes it even better!
