This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
EDIT APRIL 2009
THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED-- I made this before I knew my way around SimPE, but now it has been re-cloned properly. Please re-download if you experienced crashing, no-placement bugs, etc. etc.

Also: There was a rumor floating around a while ago about me using premade meshes. I'm pretty sure it's died out (from lack of proof), but I want to set everyone straight: I do not use premade meshes. That's it. I make my meshes from scratch.

Thanks to everyone who stood by me and refused to buy into the nonsense rumor, and I hope those few who did buy into it will come to their senses...

***

A gift I made for the lovely Jessica of Wicked Sims. Because of its size, objects placed to the left or right of it may clip slightly, but... a mirror like this is one of those objects that gets an entire side of the room all to itself anyway. Right? Right.

Additional color options (in the recolors.rar):

Double thanks to my bff, Migamoo, for testing this for me!

Polygon Counts:
1416 (pretty freaking decent for something with all these flourishes)

compare to:
base game Modular Image Full-length Mirror: 1242
seasons Rustic Glass: 1508

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

So pretty! The best mirror I've ever seen, hands down--both in real life and in The Sims. Seriously. xD

It indeed does deserve a side of the room to itself... ahaha. :D

Thanks so much!

I was afraid to download this because I was worried about the poly count. But 1416 polys? Alright, I give in. I just give in, mmkay? XD Not only are your textures stunning but your meshing talent is frackin' amazing.

That's all. :D

I asked one of my 'favourite' creators if they used premade models or not and the comment got deleted??? I should use a report button for that? Why?

I am not moaning about game crashing...it works fine and looks beautiful in my game but I would like to know if it is the artist's entirely own work or not. It seems very strange that I am not given the liberty of asking and getting an honest answer.

Edit, nevermind...I've now seen and understood the scam. Its excellent and makes us real creators realise how stupid it is to actually try and create our own textures and meshes...duh.

EEEK!

I recently switched my stuff over to another desktop, and in the process uninstalled Pets. Now when I download the mirror, it doesn't show up in the catalog. Any ideas?

If it helps you come up with any answers, I'm running on Vista...

Thanks so much!

Buggy-- that issue was about someone who had similar meshes to mine (I guess it was posted on sim-secret) so the mod was probably deleting it just to not start a war? The truth is that I don't use premade models. That's it. I make my stuff from scratch.

I loved the mirror as soon as I saw it. And I must tell that anyone make objects like you, I never doubted about all that of pre-made meshes... Thank you again for your work, and congratulations. You are the first creator I visit every time I come to MTS2!!!!

Wow. Just wow. It looks freakin' awesome, and its polycount is lower then the Seasons mirror. I would've thought it's impossible!

That's crazy! How could such beautiful objects be made from premade meshes?! Rubbish! If anyone is using premade meshes, they're using YOUR premade meshes to create breathtaking masterpieces!

Thanks! I need something like this to go with your Chinese set. This is stunningly gorgeous. Have fun, Adele!
