This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
No crime boss' palatial mansion is complete without a trophy piece of stolen art. You could even create a master thief's gallery with all of these paintings, as I have done in my own game. Either way, I hope you enjoy.

The whereabouts of all these paintings are currently unknown. All of them were stolen except for the "Portrait of Dr. Gachet", which, as you may know, set a record a few years back for the highest price paid for a painting ($82 million). The Japanese businessman who bought it once joked that he would have it cremated with him on his death, and since his death a few years ago the painting has gone missing...

For more information on these works, as well as their original locations and date of theft, check out the FBI Top Ten Art Thefts website or this article about vanished works of art.

Image 1 (all need the Majestic Beauty mesh by justmoi)
Da Vinci - Madonna of the Yarnwinder (1501)
Van Gogh - Portrait of Dr. Gachet (1890)
Gérôme - Pool in a Harem (1876)
Van Gogh - Congregation Leaving the Reformed Church in Nuenen (1884)
Munch - The Scream (1893, version formerly in the Munch Museum)

Image 2
Caravaggio - Nativity with St. Francis and St. Lawrence (1609) (needs the Majestic Grace mesh)
Vermeer - The Concert (1658-1660) (cloned from Maxis painting)
Manet - Chez Tortoni (1878-1880) (under "Spherical Splendor")

Image 3
Munch - Madonna (1893-94) (needs Majestic Beauty)
Rembrandt - The Storm on the Sea of Galilee (1633) (needs Majestic Grace)
Cézanne - View of Auvers-sur-Oise (under "The Meaning of Fruit")

Very special thanks go to justmoi for creating TWO painting meshes for me for this project, Majestic Grace and Majestic Splendor. The default art for Majestic Splendor is Rembrandt's "Lady and Gentleman in Black", which is another stolen painting that goes with this project.

The mesh for this seems to be missing, or rather the whole page which the link is connected to is a total 404. Do you have any other sources for this mesh? If not please make a note since it won't work without the mesh.

The paintings are beautiful. Too bad they can't be used. Can you supply a good link to the mesh(es)?

These paintings are great, thank you! I had no trouble getting the meshes and picked up some of JustMoi's lovely paintings along the way - bonus!

Hey Zeroth, you've got a bit of the Crime-Lord look yourself! What do you REALLY know about these stolen paintings? Thinking of starting up your own private gallery perhaps? *Gets out thumbscrews and pointy things and rolls up sleeves* Mwaahaahaa! What's that ... time for my medication? But I was just starting to have fun...! Next time, Zeroth! Next time!

Errr.... Sorry, about that, power goes to my head..... thank you for the paintings!

Wow, they're gorgeous! You did a beautiful job with the meshes.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Just an update: A couple of weeks ago they recovered Munch's Scream and Madonna, so I guess they don't fit into the collection anymore...
