Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Some video Here

Hi everyone!
This is my first upload and I am kinda scared

I'm given you Hogwarts Castle - a book based castle, inspired from:
If you take a look on that site, you'll see that I tryed to follow every step in completing the real Hogwarts Castle.

The only "problem" is that I couldn't finish it, because it is already big in size, so it's unfurnished, and it doesn't have windows. Even so, I finished Slytherin common room and dormitories and Hufflepuff...

If you'll download it, you'll see that it's an amazing castle (in my opinion)

Its size is 6x5, it costs around 880,000 and it has 9 levels (I put the maximum number of levels 13, but I used only 9.)

Furnished, it costs around 1,400,000

Ok... credits go to...
Lethe_s, Boblishman, Minienessie, gromit, Moon_EZ, and many others!
I downloaded from those enumareted above almost all their creations, and I really thank them!

Numenor's walls

and all the people on MTS2, talented people who started the Harry Potter Project, the Midnight summer dream project, all those who created castle walls and floors, and windows and doors. There are sooo many, I downloaded so much stuff from MTS2, and I am really sorry I couldn't give you a furnished castle, because it looked so nice in my game. But hey! you can do it in your game I'm just gonna show you some pictures

The Courtyard

Transfiguration Classroom

McGonagall's Bathroom

Ravenclaw Tower - view from the Courtyard

Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom with secret passage to the Chambre of Secrets

Ravenclaw Tower with Ravenclaw Common Room and dormitories

Hope you like it, and... please... enjoy!

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Wow... one word - BIG!
It kinnda looks like the castle I have imagined too... that's why to do things after the books is so hard - because some people see it in an other way...

But very good, I can see that you've taken it from hp-lexicon... great site by the way

It doesn't matter if anyone else doesn't like it. Just as long as you like it is all that counts. I got a chance to examine the pics and you did a wonderful job. I wish that the sims had larger lot sizes so you could've really made it to it's full potential

It looks very nice. I'm downloading it right now. I must say it's downloading faster than most version's that I've seen. I look forward to playing it.

Hi everyone. I have a question Even if I removed every custom object with Clean Installer, when I downloaded this castle, in the Slytherin common room I had a custom wall (green with snakes). Do any of you have it too? Can you please check it?

Thanks, and I'm waiting for your comments after you played the game...

Sorry, I don't know what went wrong :/

I wanted to say to do some more, cause I love it!
It works fine in my game, but I could have never created such an impressive castle! I looked on HP-lexicon and it's almost the same. Should I make the classrooms like in the lexicon? I mean, for example, on first floor - McGonagall's office, DADA classroom, Binns and Muggle Studies?

Thanks again!

Thank you Sabinuca!

I uploaded another lot, furnished up to first floor... hope it will be approved. Yes, I did exactly as you said, on first floor, except the Hospital Wing which is on 3 floor I think

Waiting for more comments!

Great lot, I have to say that it is very well done. The only thing I have is a question, I put it a the dorm room for Harry and others and they all hate the great hall. I tried adding things to increase the environment but they still have 0 environment in that one room. Any idea why it is doing that?

Hi! I'm glad you like it, I'm still working on it, hopefully you'll all have a pleasant surprise soon...

About the Great Hall... the truth is that I've never played the castle with my Sims... I just try to finish it - paint it, add furniture etc. Just keep trying to add or remove some objects...

Thanks again everyone

oh gosh...I can't find the words to describe this awesomeness...This MUST be a featured item.

But it requires exp packs...and I have none...I was wondering if you could make a base game compatible version?

Thank you very much... Unfortunately it took me a long time to make it as it is, and I cannot uninstall my expansion packs...
I'm really glad you guys like it, though
It means so much to me...

The big news is that... I've sent it to J.K. Rowling!!! It was furnished by the way
