Description:
Have you always dreamed of living in a modern home but still wanted to be close to nature? Then the Hillbrook manor is the home for you. Nestled high on a hill, the home is accessed via a wooden stairway built into the rocky terrain. A gentle brook meanders through the lot, and on a warm summers night you can hear the cicadas singing among the bulrushes.

The home itself is both cosy and functional. The first floor features a beautiful wicker living room, full bath, open plan kitchen and dining. The study area is also situated here and leads into the main bedroom which has its own bathroom.

A centralised stairway leads to the lower level which contains an entertainment area and the children’s bedroom – also featuring its own bathroom. Both rooms have double doors leading on a deck featuring a medium sized swimming pool.
The outdoor area is a haven for nature lovers. The brook is only a stone’s throw for the house and your little simmies will enjoy hours of fun frolicking in its cool waters. There is also an outdoor entertaining area – imagine sipping iced tea beneath and umbrella, while watching the pretty butterflies at play!
There is no parking for a car – nor any garage – I guess this home is more suited to the environmentally conscious sim – why pollute the air with carbon-dioxide? (Although the brook might “accidently” dry up and nothing would stop you from building a garage at the foot of the hill!). This home is best suited to a small family of no more than 5 Sims – however, with such a large lot, there is plenty of room for expansion.

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
