This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Updated with Baby Shower Cake!

31 Aug 2006

Hi everyone! This time I bring you some ahem...fake cakes, perfect for your bakeries as they will not rot while on display. They are big, marzipan covered wedding cakes. Also, for that special touch, now you can sell wedding cake decorations in your confisserie. They also look great kept on the livingroom sidetable as a wedding souvenir for your married sims. Hope you like them. Enjoy!

They were all cloned from the bowl of plastic fruit and can be found under decoration items/miscellaneous.

Numbers:

Big Wedding Cake: 1797 vertices / 1806 faces
Valentine Cake: 86 vertices / 164 faces
Bride and Groom Decoration: 3258 vertices / 3215 faces
Bride & Bride Decoration: 3076 vertices / 2993 faces
Groom & Groom Decoration: 3440 vertices / 3438 faces
Baby Shower Cake: 32 vertices / 56 faces

Meshes and textures by me.

Paco, I don't know how to make real food. But if you want, feel free to make these real. It would be very nice, actually.

They look so yummy... thanks.

I've never been married, but I tell people I'm divorced so they won't think something is wrong with me.

Thank you, these are absolutely brilliant! And just perfect for practicing my own forthcoming wedding...

May I make a request please? Could you make or give permission for recolours of the cake figures?

I would love to have:

Different hair colours - brunette, redheads, black hair
Different races - Asian Indian, Asian Chinese / Japanese, African
Mixed Couples - Caucasian / African, Caucasian / Indian, etc

Am I asking too much? I hope not..

Thanks again for the great download

You can recolour at will if you want. I'll try to make some recolours myself, but by all means you can recolour them. However, if you want to make a mixed couple, I put the boy's hands over the girl's hands on the texture map so it may look a bit strange if you just recolour. I'll need to adjust the texture so you could recolour separately.

Thanks for sharing these with us! I've needed more cakes for my home business.

Why does it require Uni? I don't have it installed at the moment and it still works.
