Now that downloads are working properly again, I'll try to get the last of my Valar series finished. This is Aule, The Blacksmith, one of the Lords of the Valar, the husband of Yavanna. He created the dwarves in defiance of Ilúvatar. He realized his error and was prepared to destroy them, but Iluvatar had pity and gave them life.

I began him very differently, but I just couldn’t get the right look. So I started over, and am quite pleased with the result. If you notice some similarities with Gimli, that is on purpose as Aule was the creator of the dwarves.

**Please note, I used a bodybuilder skin, but it is not shower-proof. There are many shower-proof Body Builder skintones at **

Custom content included with Aule:

Brows by exnem:
Get the whole set, they are some of the best out there.

Skintone (Pixie Hush) and eyes (Awakening) by Enayla
The queen of skintones!

Hair (Male Fuzzy Long Hair) by DJ Mur3:
He’s made a lot of great hair.

Clothes texture by Persephone:
She has several great medieval body builder outfits.

Meshes needed:

For the hair (Male Fuzzy Long Hair by DJ Mur3):

For the clothing (Togas and Hero Movie Stuff by beosboxboy:

My Policy:
I've decided everything that I've made can be boiled, fried, folded, spindled mutilated...Whatever! My only stipulation is that everything stays 100% FREE. Beyond that, a little nod for credit is nice, but I'm not going to get worked up over it if you don't.

This works fine for my neighborhoods. It's a lot more complicated with my sims though. They are full of other people's work and there is a wide variety of terms of use among them. So you shouldn't repost them as is. If you want to take the sim face and slap different skin, hair, eyes, clothes on it... fine, have at it.

**Don't interpret this to mean you have the right to use the custom content I used without credit to the original creator though.**

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Aule looks great. I was just reading the Silmarillion today... I also agree, the hair by Dj Mur is one of my new favs; ever since I saw your Gimli.

It's great! Simply great!

But it's the last of your valar? You won't be doing Ulmo and Manwe?

Hehehe, I've just finished reading Othello quite recently, and I'm giddy with delight on how much I loved the book. I hope it's okay if I use this guy as well, you know, Othello. I'm desperately seeking a male sim that I can transform him into a Cassio though (I imagine him as a particular celebrity, but since no one made him, I'm hoping MTS2 has a replacement sim for him), and maybe Rodergio, although I'm having trouble imagining what the latter character will look like.

So yeah, I hope it's okay if I turn him into an Othello instead of Aule. He's so perfect. But thanks for the sim! He looks quite lovely!

He would make a great Othello, wouldn't he? You can do whatever you like with what I make except post it on a paysite. No other limits at all.
