Amsterdamned (not the movie) For who is interested in the movie.

Amsterdam, a city with spirit. The special style of building has its own history.

For history information you can also download the history rar file

Is your Sim a gifted business manager and do you think his or her skills are sufficient to manage several home businesses, go on living in this thrilling environment. (The hard way to play). Don’t get lost. Choose a suitable place to live in, all the houses have their own charm. It is up to you.
Or make it your community lot and spend your time hanging around in a restaurant, an exclusive shop or just enjoy making social contacts. (The easy way to play)
Do you think it is a perfect dorm for your Simmies, make their day and give them the opportunity to have the time of their life in this sparkling city. All majors are available.
With a few adjustments and the right rebuilding and decorating you can make everything you want of my interpretation of Amsterdam. Use the cheat changeLotZoning and go on doing what ever you want.

Lot information:
All the houses have stairs no walls are placed except the canalhouse ofcourse. One has a great roof terrace with a tremendous view some have only a small balcony and a few are gifted with a nice citygarden. Some houses are partly split-level but they all have at least three stories up to 5 stories.

It is hard to give a floorplan but I try to be clear.
Left to right front view:
House one (green) ground level , a bar or grand cafe
1st floor dining area
2nd floor with separate entrance 2 story appartement with an attic.

Second house, (grey)on a foundation 3 storys with a small terrace on the 3rd floor.

Third house (stucco) groundlevel entrance with folding door to the citygarden.
3 stories high with ornamental roof.

Fourth house (dark grey stucco) on a foundation with folding doors to the citygarden. 3 storys high.

Fifth house, groundlevel shop (white)with door to the citygarden. Private stairway to 3 story appartement. An ornamental bow roof with a dome shaped glass roof.

Sixth house, (red) a hotel with city garden on a foundation.5 storys and a ornamental roof.

Left alley,
Yellow 2 story house with splilevel floors and a a bow roof.

Brick house on a foundation with a roofterrace 3 storys.

White brick warehouse re-built as an artistic house with a spacious roof terrace or patio if you want, with a wrought iron gazeebo roof. 4 storys.

Middle alley to the right,
A church with a small graveyard.

In the front canal a real water house as there are a lot of them in Amsterdam.

Built on a 5x6 lot. Price as shown 414.174,- Simmoleans. NOTE: built with use of NUMENOR’s wall hack. Made with base game and EP 1-2-3.

I tested playing in this lot and it works fine, just a bit slower due the size.

Shopping list before installing: by Numenor the wall Hack and seamless wall-window set by Fat D Design Kit (latest version) very important Lafenetre set, black swirl fencing and gate, big waterlily by Windkeeper I noticed it is hard to get these objects, hopefully you have them already in your game because without them some houses look a bit strange. Stairs nouveau fence by Mutske Playset by wallsims called WS_play (for the church ornaments and some decorations)
Thank you to these creators for making the great objects.

And thank you to all the creators who made the building of Amsterdamned possible.

If there are problems with installing please let me know. It takes a time to load but it should be working because the installations were tested on a clean computer.
Known issues the re-colour of the dutch flag is behind the Portugal package?, the wall paint of the yellow house, and the story half walls with ailias re-colours in black and white are missing, it is easy to fix. You know how?. Shop here at MTS
The wall paint is not available, maybe you can choose an other one you like.

Note: I am having a holyday from 25-09 till 09-10 before and afterwards I will reply on eventual questions.

Enjoy playing and have fun in Amsterdam.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

A massive upload, I'm really impressed. You should be very proud of the project's result, the design, the furnishing, the decorations ... all is perfect.
Amsterdam is a city that, like Venice, has a particular atmosphere and for a sim-builder it's not easy to "play" with all that canals and bridges, furthermore the houses are so close to each other, all is built through the up, very little chance to have large spaces in the horizontal way. Well done, the lot is more than fantastic, you added a long and detailed list of CC (I checked quite all the links, because I'm thrilled by the CC lists, sometime I discover some interesting stuff I missed) and the presentation of the project make people interested to check it out. Bravo. Kiss and ciao.

Thank you for being featured. Now I realy have credit for the hard work to build Amsterdam and getting approval to up-load. The same as lamamaforever, I always search for beautiful objects to download in the credits list of outstanding buildings. This habbit makes it sometimes difficult for me to tell afterwards where the objects came from and what the policy of the creator is. Therefore I want to offer my apologies to the up-load managers (staff) that they had to run this often trough my up-load to see if all the credits were properly given.
But thank you again, I am honored with this rating of Amsterdamned.

Absolutely stunning! I live just a few minutes ride north of Amsterdam and am still totally in love with the city. This lot captures it beautifully. Geweldig - goed gedaan!

BTW klok- & trapgeveltjes are the gables that are so typical on buildings in Amsterdam.

Another great project. Look forward to your future creations. I'm working on a log cabin series, and hope to have them up soon, will let you know when I get them up. (Hugs) TTYS

With the exception of Beach House 37-144 (requested), which only requires the main expansion packs, all of my lots have been made with Family Fun Stuff installed.
