1. Your sheltie's are pretty nice and 2. They are anything but dumb. Don't want this to turn nasty so that's all I'll say. I suggest perhaps editing your post and just leaving it at cute.

Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

Thanks! I have one of these myself, though she's of a black-white-brown colour. She's actually also were quick to learn, though a bit hyper, so certaintly not dumb

The shelties I've known [ and collies for that matter ] are smart - what might cause people to think dumb is that they are not always the wisest of dogs. People tend to sometimes confuse the two.

And on one definition, they are dumb - because it also means unable to talk with your voice. [ Which is where the whole dumb thing comes from, actually. Ah the progress of language shift. ]

As everybody else has written: shelties are NOT dumb.
I have one of my own and she's anything but stupid...
And by the way, both Collie and Sheltie are high up the top on the list of intelligent dog breeds...
Just wanted to say that.

Sorry if anyone took offense, but the one I have isn't the brightest at all >.> She chases garbage trucks, brooms, vaccums, flash lights, reflections of guitars, and is afraid the shadowmen will take her I assumed that the dogs were sort of a humorus weird dog from most of what I read on them.

Honestly, why are so many people taking offense to the whole "dumb sheltie" thing? It's just an opinion.

I love these skins!

I love these skins, too. Thanks Ledgo for taking the time to create what I attempted to make and failed at.

Got my riverstompers, so I'm good to go.

Aw, thanks for making this.. My sheltie died a few years ago.. and it's nice to know that he can live on in the sims.

Probably the reason for offense is that your average "dumb" Sheltie has simply not been trained/socialized properly, or does not get enough exercise and stimulation during her day. They are one of the smartest breeds (something like 6th out of 120!) but were bred to herd, so they have a lot of energy. Like a gifted kid in a regular class, they can act weird when not allowed to utilize that.

These are nice, though. Thank you. And of course maybe your Sheltie is just an oddball, in which case it's good you love her anyway. Not all dogs in a breed are alike.
